Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is trending in Ghana because the Minister for Foreign Affairs is receiving admiration for sharing details on the importance of the traditional handwoven smock, Fugu, which became a subject of timeline conversation between Zambians and Ghanaian netizens following President Mahama's decision to wear it during his official visit to Zambia.
Speaking at the ongoing Ghana–Zambia Business Dialogue in Lusaka, the Foreign Affairs Minister stated that the Fugu which was erroneously called a "blouse" by Zambians, is significant to Ghanaians because it was the attire worn by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah when he declared Ghana’s independence.

The desert can bloom. I am not talking about the desert ecosystem, but about the areas that have been destroyed by human activity, deforestation, excessive agriculture, open-cast mining, etc. We can reclaim these areas, not easily, but it can be done.💚☘️🌿🌱🌳🌲🍀💚

"Celebrating 7 Years of Excellence, Unity, and Transformation"
Markers for my pathway
That will last a lifetime long.
I am my Mother's garden.
I am her legacy.
And I hope today she feels the love
Reflected back from me.
A POEM DEDICATED TO MY MUM ON MOTHER'S DAY
My Mother kept a garden,
A garden of the heart.
She planted all the good things
That gave my life its start.
She turned me to the sunshine
And encouraged me to dream.
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem.
And when the winds and rain came,
She protected me enough.
But not too much because she knew
I'd need to stand up strong and tough.
Her constant good example
Always taught me right from wrong.
