Current UCI Student ready to go on an adventure to study the dynamics of animal science ~ Advocate of saving Marine Species and animal cruelty #animalrights! ❤️
the social world is very interesting and ever-changing the best way to study our own social patterns is to understand others #39canimals https://t.co/0vd4kdrpFf
#39canimals Not many people understand the seriousness of this problem, but by using social media to spread awareness and educate others, it can become the first step of ending dolphins’ captivity. https://t.co/xjtL2Vm92l

How do you know if an animal is able to experience suffering? I think the ability to suffer requires theory of mind: self-awareness and otherness. The quality of animal consciousness is something I want to use to bridge my LR and AP. #39Canimals

This is an amazing infographic for future dog owners! It's important for people to know what they get and what to expect in order to ensure good safety and proper care.
Wow, this is interesting to me, because most marine species are like this, I wonder how their behaviors differ from animal to animal who similarly find themselves in confinement? #39canimals
#39canimals The limited space can create aggression and frustration, which in the wild, dolphins are able to easily swim away to avoid any interaction, but in captivity they do not have the needed space, and instead they clash with the tank or another dolphin.
I remember watching this video, it was memorable because he brought in valid arguments about morality and ethics, he was an essential part of my essay for the ethical section. #39canimals
What is Speciesism? Richard Ryder uses the term "speciesism" to argue that if human beings preserve themselves and prioritize other species, then they should be presenting intelligence with an equity insight to the animals. #39canimals

I learned how to write a bibliography for this class, I can use this to help me with future essays to better structure it and guide it as a summary for readings.
