Way too many men think being postpartum is like, lounging around eating ice cream and having some time off and it’s just so sad and depressing how y’all clearly think so little of women
If you think all of these women are there because they want Lindsay Clancy to get away with the murders of her three children, then you haven’t been paying attention to anything women have been saying for decades.
I’m willing to bet that a majority of the women that have shown up today to support Lindsay suffered in silence through PPD/PPP at least once and felt like they weren’t going to survive.
Women in this country deserve better healthcare, especially during the postpartum period.
We ALL deserve better healthcare!
#LindsayClancyTrial
hot take: it’s extremely selfish to enter someones life and see that they’re a loving, good and cheerful person. then decide to ruin their peace cuz you can’t deal with ur own issues.
Imagine thinking a job with regular hours, weekends, and vacation time excuses you from helping your wife parent the children you had together which she does 24/7.
Shame on fathers who refuse to change diapers. Grow up.
Lindsay Clancy was married to a man child who denied her symptoms and diagnoses and was desperate for his picture perfect life back where all he had to do was head to the basement and work and block it all out until the weekends came when he could then completely check out and leave her all alone. God forbid a woman needs help and a man has to actually step up.
Men act like they’re literally dying when they have a head cold, but now wanna tell women how they know more about postpartum than we do and how hormones aren’t even that big of a deal. Bro you cry when you have a runny nose.
whatever happens in the Lindsey Clancy trial, a main conversation we need to be having is why the hell men are still going on with their lives like their wives aren’t struggling? Why are their hobbies not put on hold? Why do they not change how they behave when their wife says she’s drowning and struggling? If you want to keep living a childfree existence or feel it cuts into your personal hobbies, don’t fucking have kids. Allowing your wife to go through that while your life continues is abuse.
Forever one of the hardest things about death for me. Life doesn’t stop for your grief. Everything around you just keeps moving with this unbearable normalcy, completely indifferent to the fact that your life has been altered forever.
