I wasn’t a Super Star that’s for sure but I was a student of the game and I knew how to play!
I played at time when the TEAM was
more important than the individual. We were taught to respect the game and our opponents.
We didn’t celebrate every hit with a hand gesture or dance because we expected to be successful and when we were we acted that way. We had more fun than you can possibly imagine and we didn’t have to try and embarrass our opponents to show it.
