@heymrsbond I can tell you why my kids hate it (both A students). They have to be in classes they have less than zero interest in, have to sit even though their work is done and aren’t allowed to the autonomy take care of biological needs when needed.
@GinaWright2012 @JoshStein_ They could have. Once republicans got tge super majority there was nothing to stop them doing a referendum. They just know that it would fail. So they railroaded instead.
@SteveOnSpeed True for us and our 2 kids. But people forget that if one parent quits, they’re missing out on 4-5 years of professional and salary gains. I added 15k to my salary and my hubs added 10k during daycare years.
@jackjaykelly Remote work has made it so much easier for me to connect IRL with friends and acquaintances. Without a commute I have much more availability.
