@DrP_Principal Try not to draw anymore attention to it than necessary. Get the student a new backpack . Talk with the student about food needs in the home . Nothing to be guilty about . The kid is hungry and probably trying to feed the family . We have a share table at school, not uncommon .

@SheilaJurke I’m convinced that school districts are going to have to hire mental health professionals as a part of the school . Kids needs support regardless of ability to pay .
