The proposed 2018-19 #PABudget from @GovernorTomWolf includes $4M to expand evidenced-based home visiting in communities impacted most by the opioid epidemic.
Evidence-based home visiting family support programs, such as the one at @LGHealth, have shown positive impacts for the mother and baby such as a decrease in domestic violence and smoking during pregnancy, and a significant decrease in pre-term births.
