I want to start sharing my trading thoughts and moves on X. It’s a big leap for me and one that I want to take with the intention of teaching and hopefully inspiring others to explore their own journey. It’s taken some time to figure out what else I want to do and I keep coming back to something financial or health related. I’m here to share about the former and maybe dabble in some of the latter. We will see where this goes!
What I want to achieve is helping others realize that trading can help to unlock some of the things people want to in their lives. It definitely seems intimidating, but with some knowledge and guardrails, taking a leap is the first step to believing regular people can do it and do it well.
A bit about me and how I got here! I’m a 40ish year old dad of 3. I grew up watching stock news with my Dad when I was a kid and that was how I got interested in the markets. I eventually started trading after college and holding some long term winners ($ATVI was my first trade and I held until the merger). I started trading options as well a few years ago and there are many strategies that can hedge risk in your portfolio and holdings, which is something I am a huge fan of!
Over time, my portfolio has grown from a few thousand to a low 7 figure total. It took a lot of patience and battling emotions to overcorrect. I have made tons of mistakes as well and learned a lot about investing through those. The goal is to get better and live to battle the markets another day!
Hope you follow along learn something from time to time. I want to be positive and am not here to endlessly debate which picks or trades are stupid. I hope everyone wins and hopefully your winning trades far outnumber your losing ones!
See you in the open seas of trading!

$MU short put position update, now with more short puts!
For those following my $MU short put position, here’s the latest update and a recap of how this trade has evolved.
Trade History:
I’ve been managing a substantial short put position on Micron ($MU), with all contracts carrying $500 strike prices and expiring in January 2027.
Over the course of this trade, the cost to close has moved as follows:
Earlier update: Approximately $12,600 to close.
Previous update: Approximately $8,400 to close.
Last update: Approximately $6,400 to close, while holding 30 short put contracts.
Current update: I now hold 70 short put contracts, with the cost to close approximately $37,000.
The position has grown significantly, and the latest closing cost reflects the current exposure across all 70 contracts. This represents my conviction on memory and willingness to hold the risk while waiting for an entry price.
Where Things Stand Now:
I’m continuing to monitor MU closely. The stock’s price movement and changes in implied volatility will play an important role in determining how this position develops.
With 70 contracts outstanding, this is a sizable position, and managing risk remains my priority.
My options moving forward include:
Continue holding if the outlook remains favorable.
Consider rolling the puts out and down to manage the exposure.
Close some or all of the contracts if the risk becomes too high.
Evaluate additional premium opportunities only if the risk-reward makes sense.
Buying long puts with the same duration to hedge.
I’ll continue sharing updates so everyone can follow the trade, including changes in contract count, cost to close, and my management decisions.
Options trading carries substantial risk, especially with a position of this size. The goal is to manage the trade carefully rather than let it manage me.
See you in the open seas of trading!

$AMD earnings could be one of the biggest AI trades this week.
All eyes are on Lisa Su. Here’s what matters heading into the report:
EARNINGS DATE
November 3, 2026 (TODAY!!!)
After market close
Conference call: 5:00 PM ET
WALL STREET EXPECTATIONS
• Revenue: ~$13.1B
• Adjusted EPS: ~$1.95
• Revenue growth: ~42% YoY
• EPS growth: ~63% YoY
AMD’s own revenue guidance is $13B ± $300M.
5 THINGS I’M WATCHING
AI DATA CENTER REVENUE
This is the big one.
AMD generated $6.7B in Data Center revenue last quarter, up 107% YoY.
Can that momentum continue?
MI450 AND HELIOS
Investors want evidence that AMD can become a serious competitor in AI infrastructure, not just sell individual chips.
Watch for customer commitments, deployment timelines and production updates.
Q4 GUIDANCE
This could matter more than the Q3 numbers. My bet is it does since weak guidance has been crushing other stocks.
Analyst expectations are around $16.3B in Q4 revenue and $2.68 EPS.
Anything below that could disappoint.
EPYC SERVER CPU GROWTH
AMD is taking advantage of growing demand for server CPUs as AI infrastructure expands.
Watch for signs of continued market share gains against Intel. Likely this is happening to a larger degree.
GROSS MARGINS AND PC DEMAND
Intel’s recent outlook has raised concerns about the PC market.
Watch whether weaker PC demand, product mix or rising costs put pressure on AMD’s margins.
THE EXPECTATIONS
The market isn’t looking for AMD to simply beat earnings.
It’s looking for proof that AI demand can translate into sustained revenue growth, stronger margins and bigger forward guidance.
Options markets are pricing in roughly an 9% post-earnings move.
That’s a massive reaction either way. Options sellers…this may be your chance.
I’m long $AMD and $INTC (that one hurt recently, but at a $19.84 cost basis, the trade is doing ok) still even given all the AI related sell offs.
Trust yourself and do your own research. Be careful, the waters are extremely choppy!
See you in the open seas of trading!

@elonmusk@shaunmmaguire@broudsov With these posts, I honestly just click through to see if Elon actually responded and just read his comment.
