🇮🇳🇴🇲 Small correction to the framing —
India isn't ditching Hormuz.

It's building an escape route
in case Hormuz is taken from it.

The 2,000 km Oman-Gujarat pipeline
carries gas, not crude.
Oil tankers still need the Strait.

What India is actually doing
is smarter —

Removing gas dependency from Hormuz
while Hormuz is still open,
before the next crisis
makes it impossible to build.

Strategic insurance.
Not a permanent bypass.

China has no coastline on the Gulf.
India has Oman.
That's the actual advantage.
