@MarianaKalub going outside would be fun

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@ColeMrKevin If there's a minimum, like five, then that wouldn't be so bad.

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@MarianaKalub Exactly. If they don't know how to do it at school, how are they able to do it on their own at home.

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@JewGotThemCakes Very overwhelming, one of my students kept crying last year over how stressed she was

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A8 No HW. Have time in class to do it with teachers help. Not all parents are capable of helping their children. #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@ColeMrKevin Would you allow them to use it to see if their answer is correct/incorrect? & then make them fix it by showing their steps?

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A7 4th gr. tutor-I would allow calcs so students could see if they're on the right path, or if it needs to be fixed. No cheating #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@ColeMrKevin Those are fun, I concur.

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A6 My favorite site is What Is The Difference. There are more answers than just one. It would make them think outside the box #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@jpad48 Solving the clues together and moving around the classroom really helps create bonds :)

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@des_resendez That's a good point, about seeing the car visually move. Could also teach that their mistakes are correctable

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A5 Breakout EDU because there's reading involved, critical thinking, and math as well. It also has kids work together :D #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@liz31ctff what did you guys build?

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@somathso how did she explain things?

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@jpad48 patience goes a long way

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@carleberlymath what activity do you remember that was your favorite

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@JewGotThemCakes you should screen shot this and send it to your math teacher :)

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A4 My fav math teacher made us watch how to do a problem before taking notes, & then take us step by step on how to do it #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

A3 I would rather teach pedagogy because every student learns differently, & as a teacher, you need to be flexible for them #mathbeyond

[Ashley @ash_ctff]

@liz31ctff is there an activity that is your favorite that is hands on?
