I signed SB 17 which is the toughest ban in America on preventing the sale of our land and other property to individuals and companies from China, Iran, North Korea & Russia.
@DanPatrick@GregAbbott_TX@realDonaldTrump The only people you made happy about your insane bill are the drug dealers and cartels who were put out of business when safer alternatives were available. No one has ever died from THC, but many will now— laced with fentanyl.
𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓: Watch my latest video. We cannot in good conscience leave Austin without banning THC, which is harming our children, and destroying Texans’ lives and families.

ALL of this is a LIE. “No regulations”?! WHAT? 😂😂😂
Claims that THC products are "devastating Texans' lives" or causing child fatalities are FALSE. Medical cannabis provides adults with effective relief for chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, offering a safer alternative to opioids. NO DATA links cannabis to child mortality!
Polls indicate that 68% of voters support stringent regulations rather than outright bans. This is total BS. We didn’t vote for this.
@DanPatrick , this is a wrong take. I voted for you, but I don't support this at all. I use a THC roller for my back pain, knee pain and headaches. The pain goes away in minutes. When my sciatica flares up it's one of the only things that makes it bearable. I have to go to NM to get this. Why? Because it's not allowed here, and that's stupid. It's a pain roller. You don't eat it. You don't smoke it. You roll it on your skin. It's already illegal for minors to buy these products. Why are you hell bent on taking therapeutic treatments away from grown ass adults? I won't be voting for you ever again if this passes. Such a disappointment. I guess you rather people be hooked on pain meds and SSRI's. SHAME!
Time to vote out 95 people. Dumbest bill in Texas and it will hurt so many people who rely on it for medicine like my dad who is a veteran. @GregAbbott_TX This makes Texas a BIG joke. Jails will be booming and cartels will be banking.
A bill banning THC passed in the #Texas House late Wednesday night.
In a 95-44 vote, Senate Bill 3 passed in the House, banning all #THC products. Adults would face up to a year in jail for possessing any THC product. #thcban#texasthc

SB3 will ban ALL THC in Texas
Not for “public health.” Not for “safety.”
But because special interest groups like Reynolds Tobacco fund GOP events, like those hosted by Dan Patrick & Ted Cruz.
This is corporate cronyism - not conservatism.
🚨BREAKING🚨The Texas House of Representatives just voted to BAN THC in Texas!
SB 3 has already passed the Senate, so this bill will go to the Governor. This bill will hurt millions of Texans who use safe and legal THC products.
We must continue to fight against bad bills like SB 3 and push for change!
