@semajy@rohan_connolly Would John work as a head coach with James "waiting in the wings" like that?
I mean... they'd have to be fully open about the succession plan and timeline as everyone knows that is what would be the ultimate plan if James did that.
@SMpwrgr One time my son tested a strong positive w/ symptoms; I put a purifier in his room overnight and from the next day completely negative thereafter!
RATs tend to be accurate with him for the duration of active infections, so at the time I did wonder if the purifier had an impact.
@dmacc_ms@hasumpstuffedup@The_Inside_Word Whether you've heard it or not - and look, attending games and hearing all the ridiculous "ball" shouts from the crowd, I can see that you're not alone in that view - the rules are exactly as such and have been for a long time. Go read them if you want to check.
@FootyLock6@Dave1026380452@DonCaldwelll For sure.
Saw him being really self critical in a post game interview once, it was very telling.
If I was to guess at his MBTI personality type, it would be INTP.
Long COVID causes a huge burden of disease & disability, costs the economy billions, yet prevention of COVID is forgotten. Vaccine policy has been downgraded for working-age adults (the worst affected LC age group in our study) & cost-effectiveness analyses only consider acute outcomes like hospitalisation & death in the acute phase. https://t.co/Lg2Z6VN2wB
COVID remains part of our lives & with cases on the rise again in Vic, these small steps can make a big difference.
(Yesss, we know you know - but a friendly reminder never hurts when it comes to keeping our community safe 💛)

#COVID19
Big numbers. Bc of much less severe disease than in adults, authorities have gambled that COVID/long COVID in kids is of little concern. There's much evidence now to suggest that's wrong. There's a clear path to better protect kids. We should take it.

From the team @BurnetInstitute - we have to get vaccination rates up, this is one practical & straightforward (if imperfect) way to do it. 1/
Getting COVID booster alongside flu shot could reduce hospitalisations, study finds https://t.co/RIQlvjl1Ic via @ABCaustralia
Why no C19 vax for children in Australia? Last year, ACIP reported 58 deaths in infants ages less than a year, 44 deaths in children ages 1-4 years and 81 deaths in children ages 5-19 years. 50% of children hospitalised with COVID had no underlying health conditions.

@CrabbBrendan If I see one more report of our Health Minister telling us to get vaccinated, while knowing that he has not bothered to access Novavax for those who cannot tolerate an mRNA vaccine, I will burst a blood vessel.
This is true too for children which is a key reason why I support the widening of eligibility to include children. In my view, the evidence strongly supports the notion that no one, whatever your age, should get infected without having the chance to first be vaccinated. 4/
Hard to see why Novavax is not available in Australia. Milder side effects. Shown by studies to be *more* effective than the mRNA vax. And *literally required* by people who can't tolerate the mRNA vax.
What's the story, @Mark_Butler_MP?
@BigBadDenis@Mark_Butler_MP If only I could stay up to date with covid vaccines @Mark_Butler_MP. Unfortunately you have still not provided Novavax updates, despite full approval of Novavax in US + EU, Japan, Singapore, etc. I’m high risk, mRNA intolerant, Nova is safe for me, but seems I don’t deserve a vax?
