https://t.co/IEY7jcK4U6 I thought that deliveries inside your locked house was a bit suspicious, but with this addition to Amazon's shipping, I've been proven wrong. I wonder how many delivery spots will become available before deciding that Amazon has gone too far.#mchslang19
“Witch hunts” explained, from Salem to Donald Trump https://t.co/UUh74AeqqV Since we just learned and wrote an essay on the whole "witch hunt" process, how are these claims by Trump a false accusation? #mchslang19
https://t.co/OiWW0S1Nal This video is from 1951 and explains what to do in the event of a bombing, as well as the aftermath of Japanese bombings. It seems pretty optimistic, could it be to lessen the fears of possible bombings? Can this be applied to todays situation? #mchslang19
https://t.co/EBHOUlnRRA This short article talks about the dangers and extremities of nuclear warfare if it were to be used. It also advocates for a change in regulation of who controls the weapons. Should there be a more widespread management of nuclear decisions? #mchslang19
https://t.co/sAVH1IgVxR As denuclearization is being worked towards, it's interesting to apply this to other international issues and how they may be resolved #mchslang19
https://t.co/uOMzFwzYQT It's interesting how one catastrophic event causes changes in policies on privacy. Would users continue to have their data shared in the case that this issue was never public, or would companies decide to act on the issue individually?#mchslang19
@Veloxx_a I think that this article provides a good example of how large the effect of humans can be, and it's a good lesson to demonstrate the awareness we need to have towards our actions when involving nature.
@cherrycerise__ It's very alarming when studies such as this come out, it hints that there may be dangers in our everyday technologies. I agree, I'm glad that this has become a realization and people are working towards diminishing this issue.
@A_bar_of_clay I agree. There should also be more focus on this issue, I think, especially because the nuclear conflict in the Korean peninsula is making efforts to resolution. It shows that situations as foreboding as nuclear power can be steadily resolved.
@A_bar_of_clay It's unsettling that something so common as lettuce has the risk of getting someone sick, I feel as though our food should be more regulated to avoid outbreaks such as this. The least they could do is, like you said, temporarily take it off the shelves until the problem resolves.
@A_bar_of_clay There have been many instances where I thought that the wage for a teacher was much too low, especially when they contribute so much to the growth of a new generation. As well, many people are held back from pursuing a career in teaching simply due to the low wages.
https://t.co/HhuPXdCxfq … I didn't think that America was so far down the list for press freedom. Have there been any instances (personal or well-known) that have demonstrated evidence for the low placement on the list? #mchslang19
@okmchslang I can't imagine the fear so many immigrants must feel when they are unable to escape the prospect of death in neither their own country, or America. The chance of losing family also causes hesitation in seeking refuge, which increases the silent unease in this country.
@bananapaper3 I think this feature is a nice addition, especially because a lot of the times being polite to a machine isn't something primarily considered. This feature shouldn't replace the parent's duties of raising a well-mannered citizen, but should only make the process easier.
@okmchslang I think that learning both the achievements and low points of one's country is something necessary in order avoid repeat the past. Although it is slightly gruesome, this epidemic shouldn't be sugar-coated, and should instead be used as a way to acknowledge the past.
@FailingLang@BBC_Future It's crazy that technology has developed in order to achieve something so futuristic. It's tempting to bring back extinct animals. but at the same time, it seems this would only be used for our entertainment, which I don't think is very ideal.
https://t.co/HOCkiDS8bF It seems as though efforts made toward denuclearization are slowly progressing, although there is more to coming to agreement than simply asking. Do you think North Korea will request a significant compromise such as global nuclear disarmament? #mchslang19
https://t.co/n7yK3JLrZo This joke has been used for as long as I can remember, but with recent events concerning gun control and safety, is it something that people should crack down on as further means of regulating how guns should be used? #mchslang19
@cherrycerise__ Although this method is effective in the ultimate goal of "deterring" people away from the US, it's disheartening to think that families trying to save their children can't seek safety from violence without fearing separation. Hopefully, a more effective solution will be reached.
@cherrycerise__ The immigration crisis has many points that need to be addressed, and after reading this article, the proposed strategy of sending troops to the border seems to only add to the confusion, as there are compromises that come with it.
