At urgent care because of an earache. A couple from the UK came in while I was in the lobby. They were confused at the fact that their insurance wouldn’t be accepted and that they would have to pay out of pocket. They walked out. I felt so embarrassed for this country.

@rebelmusicteach One of my fav things about working in ECE is spotting trends early. In our small preschool we have 2 George’s, 2 Daisys, and 2 Rachel’s. First 2 are pretty classic and aren’t uncommon for a revival. But the Rachel’s make me wonder if we are approaching millennial name revival 🧐

@laurenhtexas People saying it’s easier for small children who can’t make it to the toilet are reaching. It’s always been a small trash can in my family. I wouldn’t even think to use a DISH… especially one that is regularly used for food.

@slatington2334 @NicolasEdny Are you suggesting black people telling us the truth about our people will push you to vote differently? That sounds like a threat and if your convictions are so fickle then everything they say is true. We need to focus on our own and fix this problem from within.

White progressive women (especially in GA) we need to really spend more time calling in our own than trying to distance ourselves in the name of being an “ally”. There are no allies when you look at these demographics. We have to do better. This isn’t feminism.

I don’t think we Christians realize how fragile a picture we paint of Christianity when we act as though it is so dependent on certain people and parties being in power and entire nations abiding by our beliefs.

That’s not the gospel of Jesus.

That’s codependency.
