⚡️HAMAS:
The brutal crime the occupation is committing by pursuing, killing, and arresting the fighters trapped in the tunnels of Rafah is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and clear proof of ongoing attempts to undermine and destroy this agreement.
This aggressive policy is a flagrant breach of the ceasefire and undeniable evidence of the occupation’s continuous attempts to sabotage it.
Throughout the past month, the movement has made major efforts with political leaders and the mediators to resolve the issue of the trapped fighters and secure their return to their homes.
Hamas presented specific ideas and mechanisms to address the matter, while maintaining full communication with the mediators and with the American administration as one of the guarantors of the ceasefire agreement.
However, the occupation destroyed all these efforts, choosing instead the language of killing, crime, pursuit, and arrest, undermining the mediators efforts and the work done by many international parties to end the suffering of these heroic fighters.
We hold the occupation fully responsible for the lives of our fighters, and we call on the mediators to intervene urgently and pressure the occupation to allow our men to return to their homes.
They represent a unique example of sacrifice, heroism, and patience, and they are a symbol of the dignity and freedom of the Palestinian people.
