As you can see from my badge, all elements of the current crest remain. I’ve redrawn everything with a consistent line weight, simplified the scroll and enhanced the detail and size of key elements to improve scalability and overall composition.

My redesign was a genuine attempt from a designer and football fan to address a design challenge and improve the badge for use in a digital world.

We’ve all witnessed the errors made by other clubs in the premier league when updating a badge and I wanted to show how it could be done sympathetically and with the fans in mind.
