@CAjagannth Taxpayer claimed fake 80G deduction and took refund. During assessment proceedings accepted his mistake. AO completed assessment and initiated penalty proceedings u/s 270A. Is AO justified?

If borrower manually pays EMI before due date bcoz ECS-linked Ac is frozen & lender still presents ECS afterwards which bounces, r bounce charges justified even though EMI was already received by lender before due date?
