completely different and everyone in westeros is very aware of the damage that aegon iv caused. grrm isn't subtle about this. in the same chapter we learn about the tourney at harrenhal, we also learn about one of aegon's attempts to humiliate naerys:
speaking of missy blackwood, a factor people ignore is that missy was very likely coerced. it's clearly established that the lords of westeros offered up their wives and daughters to aegon iv in order to curry favor. he was corrupted/corrupted people
of compromise. it wouldn't look like naerys and missy because of the very public nature of elia's humiliation and an entire war breaking out in the aftermath; but it wouldn't look like cersei killing robert's bastards and forcing him not to interact with them, or even catelyn +
and naerys, aemon, and daeron likely knew that the relationship wouldn't last long and he would tire of her (which he did). combined with her sweet disposition, it's plausible that a friendship might have developed between them. the circumstances of rhaegar and lyanna are
"dragonstone was grim beyond a doubt, a lonely citadel in the wet waste surrounded by storm and salt, with the smoking shadow of the mountain at its back."

canon isn't the details that you like in an adaptation or that you think grrm supports, even if we ignore that he says he has the right to change any details he's revealed in interviews/adaptations when he writes the books. we don't pick and choose what it is. canon is the books.
the play was never going to be canon, just like the other adaptations. but then plot points come out that clearly contradict the books and the fandom insists its canon. then the playwright said he made things up which was already obvious and the fandom still says its canon.
it's interesting how jon snow himself dismisses the idea that valyrian steel swords are a realistic solution to the others but a lot of readers still insist that the fact that he owns one makes him azor ahai
rhaegar also misinterprets "the dragon has three heads" to mean three individuals (and dany too when she thinks about it in asos). the birth of her dragons and their bond is exceptional/unlike anything before so i dont see why she would be restrained to only ride one dragon
there's something really narratively unsatisfying in the idea that two people dany barely knows will bond with the dragons that she birthed/raised. we know rhaegar and aemon's interpretation of "the prince" that was promised was wrong so i think
