@AliJones9 Agreed. But living and working in Wolverhampton in the late 80’s / early 90’s following our disastrous sale of S Bull esq wasn’t easy. Different view now I live in Birmingham.
@SimonCalder@avivaplc I have a flight booked and an Air BNB. Apparently Aviva cannot advise me if my policy would cover my accommodation costs if we don’t fly. Any advice you can offer please? Took 30 mins to speak to a human for reference.
@MartinSLewis Fixed months ago for two years. Given the instability in the world, IMO, it’s always worth fixing if you can. If you can afford it, fix it. Not just gas and electric, same with mortgages and anything.
West Brom's pre tax losses for the last three seasons were £64m, infrastructure add back just under £3.5m. Academy costs are likely to be significant as West Brom have a Cat 1 academy, so estimate £6m a year, £18m over three years. That takes PSR loss to £42.6m, before women's team (which is not full time) and community scheme.
Allowable loss (after cost of living adjustment) is £41.5m. A lot will depend on the actual running costs of the academy.
