I’ve never felt the importance of @traysartech mission more than I do today.
Trump signed this deal because he understood the alternative. If the real goal was to eliminate Iran’s military capabilities, it would have required far more than airstrikes. It would have meant boots on the ground and operations deep inside the vast subterranean networks where much of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, missile production, and strategic assets can survive.
If you’re not willing to go all the way, it’s often better not to go halfway - especially against a regime willing to absorb enormous economic damage and loss of life while continuing to pursue its objectives.
This deal does not mean peace to me. Unfortunately, I believe we will be dealing with this threat again in the coming years. That is the nature of ideological movements driven by Muslim fundamentalism - they rarely abandon their long-term ambitions.
In the meantime, I believe it is our mission at Traysar, and hopefully the mission of many others, to work as hard and fast as possible so that the next time we face Iran or other adversaries we have technologies that can reach anywhere, access any underground stronghold, and turn subterranean infrastructure from a strategic advantage into a strategic weakness.
Godspeed.
Just preordered.
It always amazes me the amount of knowledge @SpencerGuard has to share. Serving as a soldier gave me and my friends so many life skills. Excited to read his thoughts on this as well.
Fire-monitoring maps show the ballistic missile strike that reportedly hit Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base in Jordan, killing 2 U.S. soldiers and wounding others.
This week spoke with a ret Lt. Gen. USAF, who stressed the need to better protect U.S. airbases across the Middle East.
The combination of Nolan’s genius and the writing of Homer could have created a historic film. The greatness of each left us with a very good film, but not more than that, because the ethos that made The Odyssey so great was sacrificed for the sake of a simplistic pacifist political statement.
People focus too much on the choice of actors (which was just an indicator of what was coming), but whoever has read the book knows that many of the characters themselves were completely reshaped for the sake of this weird messaging.
Telemachus, who is almost godlike as he fights for revenge alongside his father in the book, is turned into a Peter Parker-like sweet and weak boy who’s protected from the horrors of violence.
Odysseus himself is intentionally made more human than godlike, taking away his aura and giving more place to his trauma from the war than to his deep passion and strive to come home.
Athena is kept at a distance, pained by war more than an active player in the passions and complexity of gods and men.
This movement of feeling uncomfortable with greatness, with the core of human feelings and passions, and always minimizing and fogging these inner emotions in favor of a more “human” approach, rather than celebrating the actual greatness of man and encouraging all of us to have something to strive for—even if it is far away, yet still within us—is a mirror to so many movements in America and why they shy away from ambition, success, and creation.
The absurdity is that people like Nolan already have greatness and talent within them, so this ideology only minimizes what they could be, while they still succeed in creating such great art and creations.
What we really need is a Manhattan project for striking deeply buried targets. No true US deterrence until we can demonstrate that, and broadcast the results beyond doubt.
Get geologists, engineers, and physicists in a room until the problem is solved.
In continuation to my first post wanted to share more technical information about this and decoupling , and it’s strategic meaning :
At the center of this geophysical and engineering field is the concept of cavity decoupling.
How does it work?
Rather than detonating an underground explosion directly within solid rock—which generates powerful seismic waves that are quickly detected worldwide—the explosion is conducted inside a massive underground cavity excavated in hard rock or a salt dome.
The engineering principle is straightforward: the air and gases within the cavity absorb much of the blast pressure and thermal energy, significantly reducing the seismic energy transmitted into the surrounding rock.
The result is a dramatically weaker seismic signature. Under favorable conditions, the measured seismic signal can be many times smaller than that of an equivalent explosion in solid rock, making a significant underground explosion appear much smaller to monitoring systems.
What does this mean for the Subterra community?
Physical concealment versus digital detection. The technological race underground is evolving along two parallel tracks: on one side, increasingly advanced excavation and isolation techniques designed to reduce acoustic, seismic, and other detectable signatures; on the other, increasingly sensitive sensors and sophisticated algorithms capable of detecting the faintest disturbances beneath the Earth’s surface.
The underground as the next strategic domain. Nations such as China, Russia, and Iran recognize that in a world where the surface battlefield is becoming increasingly transparent, geological depth offers one of the few remaining advantages for survivability, concealment, and operational resilience.
Anyone who believes the subterranean domain is limited to tactical tunnels is missing the bigger picture. The science, engineering, and technology being developed beneath the surface are shaping the next frontier of strategic competition.
China detaining a US seismologist over claims he was helping the US detect underground nuclear experiments done by N Korea , and probably to use his knowledge to hide hide their own.
Subterra is not tactics it’s at the core of our national deterrence

Today, we’re announcing that we’ve raised $115 million in funding, including a $100M Series A led by @kleinerperkins.
America has lost the ability to build, and we’re here to restore it. My co-founder, @NoahMcGuinn, and I left our jobs at @SpaceX , where we worked on programs including Starship, Starshield, and @Starlink, to build a company that will solve construction’s greatest challenges.
Infrastructure is the foundation of civilization, and construction is the precursor to innovation. If America wants to build a brighter future for the next generation, we have to make it faster, cheaper, and safer to build.
That’s where @TerraFirma_Inc comes in. We’re a new type of company, a robotic construction company that builds the full technology stack needed to deliver an order-of-magnitude improvement in one of the world’s oldest, largest, most important, but least efficient industries.
We are building technology that expands what’s possible in construction on Earth, and then we'll use that same technology to build megastructures and colonies on the Moon and Mars.
We’ve made tremendous progress over the past year, growing the company more than 10x in the last 12 months. We are performing projects across the world. By the end of October 2026, we are on track to operate 3 of the top 3 largest robotic construction fleets in the world, each on a different continent, bringing unprecedented speed, scale, and efficiency to some of the world’s most complex critical infrastructure projects.
This funding will allow us to step on the gas and scale our manufacturing, software, operations, and construction deployments, including work on massive commercial and government contracts.
We’re building the future of construction right here in Austin, Texas, and scaling it globally. If you want to be part of the team changing the world, now and on Mars, join us.
Our Series A was led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, BANNER VC, Saga Ventures, Trust Ventures, Definition, PEAK6, Magnetar Capital, and Ravelin Capital. Huge thanks to all of our angel investors, friends, and family who have helped and supported us throughout this journey.

❗️❗️❗️Ukrainian forces executed a massive, highly coordinated bombardment campaign overnight, targeting the Armyansk district along the occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
The complex joint operation was successfully carried out through the combined assets of Naval Aviation, Naval Unmanned Aviation, the National Guard's (NGU) elite "Lazarus Group," and the 34th "Venom" Unmanned Systems Center of the State Special Communications Service.
The primary target was a sprawling, semi-underground Russian logistics hub containing vital command posts, specialized supply depots, and critical technological systems. To effectively penetrate the hardened, semi-subterranean installations, Ukrainian forces deployed a heavy wave of oversized, high-payload kamikaze drones specifically designed for maximum structural destruction.
According to official statements from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation achieved complete success due to the prior systematic neutralization of Russian air defense networks across the entire sector. While specific operational details remain classified under tight security, Ukrainian commanders confirmed that Russian occupying forces have already sustained heavy casualties, with numerous personnel listed as missing in action, promising that explosive visual evidence from the strike will surface online shortly.
Imagine a Israeli parliament member trying to enter someone’s private property in the US being stopped , questioned by local authorities and then be outraged he was treated that way .
I wonder what the response would be …
@SpencerGuard is so right , think of it this way : if until now Subterra was a tool of a lesser adversary to survive the US overwhelming force - and it worked (Iran ) just imagine the meaning of a close to equivalent adversary with the same ability to stand protected by the US strikes.
Also with Guam killers and more how do we protect are troops from these mass air attacks when stock piles become low ?
China investing in technology, research, and application in deep buried blasting projects. Surely only for civilian application (not). The U.S. needs to lead in the subterra domain. It is the future. @traysartech@anduriltech@PalmerLuckey@asherdigs https://t.co/NaFE6XtQXE
THE UNDERGROUND BATTLEFIELD
@SpencerGuard and @asherdigs explore the rise of the “subterra domain,” arguing underground warfare should stand alongside land, sea, air, space, and cyber as its own operational arena.
