"भारत की UPI Indonesia के payment system के साथ integrate होने जा रही है। इससे, ease of doing business और ease of travel दोनों को ही बल मिलेगा।"

The AI era is creating a new world order.
🇺🇸 US & 🇨🇳 China lead with AI models. 🇹🇼 Taiwan & 🇰🇷 South Korea dominate chips. 🇯🇵 Japan & 🇮🇱 Israel are riding deep-tech innovation. Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Mexico are benefiting from the AI supply chain.
Meanwhile, countries seen as reliant on traditional IT services, including India, are under pressure. The message is clear: the next decade will be won by building AI products, chips, compute and intellectual property.
#WATCH | EAM Dr S Jaishankar participated in a panel discussion at Kultaranta Talks with Finland FM Elina Valtonen, and Assistant FM of UAE, Lana Nusseibeh on 'Emerging Powers and the New Geopolitical Competition'
He says, "I buy oil based on cost and availability. So at that point of time, ah much of the oil available on the market was Russia because Europeans were essentially buying up the Middle East oil, which was our traditional supply. So circumstances pushed us in a certain direction but since you spoke about moral ambiguity, I would say this, no European country has been attacked with Indian weapons. I wish I could say that for European weapons vis-a-vis India. So keep that in mind..."

Thank you, President Trump, for your warm wishes.
I look forward to working with you to further advance the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, for the benefit of both our nations and the world.

“To beard the lion in his den.”
The dictionary defines it as boldly confronting a powerful rival on their own turf.
For years, Norway Chess has been Magnus Carlsen’s den. His turf. His domain.
So I woke up to this news and my jaw dropped.
You didn’t just win a title, @rpraggnachess.
You walked into the lion’s den and emerged victorious
This title is important. Not because of the trophy, but because of your challenger spirit.
And that’s something all of us can learn from…

🚨 Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.
More than even Tamil channels, I find the coverage by NDTV of developments in Tamil Nadu during the last few days to be really good and insightful.
Good job. Congratulations @ShivAroor and team.
When it comes to personal finance, people somehow keep making the same mistakes over and over again. There’s very little creativity in the mistakes people make.
Take investing. Pretty much every influencer, every serious finance writer, and the financial media have been screaming for years: don’t mix insurance with investments. ULIPs are usually a bad idea. Endowment policies are usually a bad idea.
And yet, ULIP sales continue to grow and endowment plans continue to be sold. People continue to fall for the same pitches, despite all the articles, videos, and excel sheets explaining why these products are bad.
The same applies to health insurance, though I have a little more sympathy there. Health insurance is genuinely complicated. There are tiny clauses, room rent caps, waiting periods, exclusions, and conditions that most people don’t fully understand and then they find out the hard way, when they still have to pay out of pocket despite having a policy.
But with products like ULIPs and endowment plans, there’s no excuse. These are not impossibly complicated products. Even a cursory Google search will tell you the problem. And today, in 2026, you can just ask ChatGPT or Claude whether a product is a good idea, and they’ll usually show you the math, explain the catches, and give you pointers on what to do.
And yet, people still keep falling for the same thing.
@PrateekLearnapp from @Zero1ByZerodha has made a really nice video on some of the biggest mistakes Indians make with investing and health insurance. It’s worth watching, and sharing with your friends and family too.
The results of the recent state elections have been dramatic by any measure.
But for me, this image will remain the most unforgettable outcome of the elections.
More than 166,000 votes were cast between the two leading candidates in this constituency in Tamil Nadu.
And history was changed by just one vote.
This image should be shown in every school in the country & perhaps around the world.
So that every child understands that when they grow up, the greatest power they may possess is the Power of One.
The power of their one vote.
I genuinely believe a catastrophe has been avoided. At the same time, certain realities of world are not going to change.
The agreement between America and Iran is not going to be an easy process. Expect lot of fireworks. Even sending missiles and drones may happen again. But a clear red line is drawn such that fear of extinction need not be there.
Israel is extremely unhappy. America is actually fighting on behalf of Israel. This is Israel's war. Israel would do whatever it can to keep sabotaging the deals. Don't expect Israel and Iran to get along well with each other. Not going to happen. Both want to erase the existence of other.
Gulf countries have been paying billions of dollars every year to America for protection. There are even reports that some gulf countries wanted America to use this opportunity to finish Iran.
Now gulf countries has to grudgingly accept the existence and power of Iran. The relationship is not going to be smooth.
So, the world continues as it is. But the most important thing is that the humanity has saved itself from a catastrophe.
Drupal 12 will use Argon2id for password hashing by default. Existing passwords migrate automatically on next login. Most site owners never think about password hashing, so getting the defaults right matters most. 🛡️🎯💪 https://t.co/KJtP5IZGLs
My honest assessment is things look very ugly as on date. US troops are likely to do ground invasion of Iran this week. Huge casualities are being feared. Lot of critical infrastructure are being severely attacked across the entire gulf region.
Houthis, backed by Iran, have taken control of Bab el Mandeb strait in red sea. This further chokes the movement from gulf with Strait of Hormuz already under Iran's control.
Iran is being actively helped by both Russia and China. The more America try to destroy Iran, Iran would focus on destroying Israel and entire gulf region. Gulf can be rendered useless and uninhabitable.
We don't know when and where this conflict would stop. If it intensifies, getting sufficient crude, gas, fertilizers and many other essentials for modern life would be a huge problem for the entire world.
This would lead to run away inflation where poor suffer much more than rich. Interest rates would spike across the world. US and other developed countries would find it very difficult service their ballooning debt. Many years of global recession cannot be ruled out.
This is the worst being envisaged. There is no point even getting into scenario where nuclear warheads may be used. It would be extremely catastrophic.
War can end as ordinary Americans are strongly opposing this. Trump and MAGA are becoming so unpopular which may lead to loss of midterm elections later this year by Republicans. If Democrats get the control, there are huge chances that Trump may be impeached.
If sense prevails on America and they stop attacking Iran and withdraw from the war, US is unlikely to enjoy hegemony once it used to enjoy. Thanks to Trump, countries have completely lost trust in US. Be it Europe, Russia, China, Japan, India and even gulf countries - everyone is finding it difficult to trust and work with US.
Even if things get better, it may happen only after much more damage is caused.
Hold on to your existing investments and continue SIPs. Don't deploy emergency or safe money into markets. No one knows whether things would recover in few months or few years.
Focus on your career, ensure you are employed, develop skills which can keep you employable and wait for good times.
Mentally get ready for a period of pain. If it doesn't happen, well and good for us. If it happens, we are emotionally ready to handle the same.
Hard work beats talent.
Smart work beats hard work.
But consistent smart work beats everything.
And here’s the truth: You need hard work to discover what smart work is and consistency to make it count.
The first things you want to buy once you are financially free are often the things you grew up without, but you can unfortunately not buy the most important ones directly: health, love, confidence, mental clarity, discipline, talent. Earning them is quite straightforward though:
After 37 years of age, I’ve finally come to realize that, as a man, never stay indoors all day. It's the best cure to depression. Go out, make friends, and create new connections. A man's job is to face the world, take risks, and embrace difficulties.
Donald trump wanted to paint the White House. He called three contractors for quotes.
The Chinese guy quoted $3 million. The European guy quoted $7 million. The Indian guy quoted $10 million.
Trump asked the Chinese guy “How did you quote $3 million?” The Chinese guy replied “$1 million for paint, $1 million for labor and $1 million profit.”
Trump asked the European guy. He replied: “$3 million for paint, $2 million for labor and $2 million profit.”
Trump asked the Indian guy. He replied: “$4 million for you. $3 million for me. And we will give $3 million to the Chinese guy and ask him to paint it.”
The Indian guy got the contract. 😄
