People seen climbing over steel barricades near Challaghatta Metro Station to reach the metro from the nearby bus stand a clear sign of poor pedestrian planning!.This daily struggle of commuters is not just unsafe but also highlights the lack of basic infrastructure and coordination between BMTC and BMRCL. Instead of forcing citizens to risk their safety by crossing or climbing barricades, BMRCL should immediately look into creating a dedicated shortcut that connects the bus stop directly to the metro station. It’s unacceptable that after spending crores on metro expansion, the authorities have ignored something as essential as safe and convenient access for passengers. Commuters shouldn’t have to play “obstacle course” just to catch a train. BMRCL must take note and act swiftly to provide a safer and smarter route for public convenience

Can Minister @krishnabgowda please have a look. A friend of mine told me recently that he was asked to pay a bribe to get a E Katha. Can people who were asked to pay a bribe please speak out on X?
Full support to Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya.
Public transport alone can decongest any city. That will solve the parking problem as well.
Many people end up taking their cars to work due to lack of well connected public transport. Last mile connectivity is key..
This is the condition of the footpath encroached by the BBMP/GBA office on Bommanahalli–Begur Road, Bengaluru.
Not sure how they expect citizens to use it!
@GBAChiefComm , @comm_blr_south, @TejasviSurya, @msrbommanahall — it’s time to fix this! 🚧👣
I had a 20 minute conversation on the phone with Mr Sivakumar today and felt so utterly helpless at the end of it. He broke down in tears many times. From placing his daughter’s body in the morgue to the response of the police, from cremation grounds to cops, he spoke of hostile red tape and open corruption. This for a man mourning the death of his 34 year old daughter. Blood boiling and heart breaking
Today I was in Bengaluru. Reached Purple Line Metro at 10 AM. It was closed due to technical issue. No information.
Thousands were stranded. Confusion everywhere.
We went back & took the car. It took 2.15 hours for 25 kms. Would have taken 45 minutes by metro.
This shows how important it is to have running, well connected metro in a city like Bengaluru.
Do not create anything more on the road, decongestion with metro is the only option. @DKShivakumar ji. Don't start anything for political reasons. No tunnels please.
If one day, one line closure can impact tens of thousands, imagine how awesome it would be, if the city is connected by metros running flawlessly. We need to have World class public transportation which has more routes and trains. Put QR code with the contractors information and make them accountable to complete on time. Finish all existing projects. No new projects. No scams.
You can rewrite history @DKShivakumar ji. Please...
This is a wake up call. Ok, now that I have written this post, I need to drive back now again 😭😭😭 2.5 hours back ❤️
Anyone else affected today on Metro lines?
#FI
For all these days, I was under the wrong impression that the tunnel project was aimed at solving Bengaluru traffic problem.
Now, DCM has clarified that it is intended to solve a social problem - of people not wanting to marry a man without car.
How stupid I was!
Please come join school students & teachers on our treacherous daily commutes to #schools where children of IT professionals study across #Whitefield #Sarjapur VarthurGunjur
Parents are exploring options outside of Blr due to the broken roads
So while we speak of building - please build us proper roads & mass mobility infrastructure on #SH35
Saddened seeing the choice of words& tone from the Congress’s official handle! That said, I think all govts since SMK’s has failed #Bengaluru
As have BJPs elected reps in the area @PCMohanMP@ArvindLBJP@MALimbavali
Why Bengaluru is beyond repair?
World renowned industrialist @kiranshaw built her company from this city, and with her growth, Bengaluru too grew. She raised a simple, valid concern voiced by foreign delegates — why can the so-called tech capital of India not provide garbage free and safe roads?
Instead of reflecting and fixing what is wrong, the entire @siddaramaiah cabinet and its troll machinery began attacking her personally. You can’t fix a city by silencing those who dare to speak the truth. You can’t win the war by killing the messenger.
Bengaluru’s collapse is not about rain or population, it is about the system that feeds on commissions and neglects accountability. Break this chain, reform the machinery, and act before it’s too late.
Remember Kolkata — once the jewel of the British empire, now a reminder of what happens when politics strangles enterprise. If Bengaluru falls, India’s growth story will stumble with it.
Andhra is cooking up investments, while Karnataka’s ministers are busy cooking excuses.
Andhra is attracting Google; Karnataka’s ministers are threatening people who use it.
No roads, no funds, no jobs, but just reels, real estate, and rhetoric!
It Looks like Andhra’s spice burns hotter than Bengaluru’s asphalt these days.
@naralokesh bro, under NDA, you’ve shown how leadership can reboot a state.
We’ll do the same in Karnataka, 2028 will be our reboot year!
Will our @CPBlr please take action? How can police slap a citizen? Are we slaves or citizens in our city? Minister @DrParameshwara please intervene. This is unacceptable. @DgpKarnataka will our @CMofKarnataka please protect citizens as he has sworn to do? @siddaramaiah
Instead of taking @kiranshaw’s concerns positively and fixing Bengaluru’s mess, Congress ministers are busy threatening her & blaming the Opposition.
DCM claims ₹1,100 crore for road repairs, 10,000 potholes identified, 5,000 “fixed.”
@INCKarnataka’s math is as bad as its roads.
Maybe Congress filled X with replies, not roads with asphalt.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw stays in Karnataka
She immensely contributed to the economy of Ktka
She created jobs in Ktka
She did more for Blore than any current Cong leader
But acc to Cong, she shouldn't ask questions cuz it's not "constructive criticism"
Who else should she ask? Govt of Uganda?
