SOTA models can be trained for $10 billion with $5b spent only in getting the top 50 Indian AI brains in the US back to India. Give them $100m each to come back. They will. Add another $5b, create a small city for this endeavor with world class infra and buildings.

Since the GitHub Copilot token apocalypse this month I’ve had zero urge to code. Something I’ve done my entire adult life

Just genuinely depressed. How can you be creative while watching money leave your bank account for thinking? And how can you get that dopamine hit knowing you wasted time when an AI could have done it faster?

The only people left coding will be those with effectively unlimited token budgets. End of an era for regular developers.

For token millionaires only. AI was supposed to give non-coders also the power to be a programmer. They became but learning about harnessing, looping, goal is not their cup of tea. AI based programming favoring those who have good prior experience and even more to those were already good. It is creating different classes or haves and have nots. If they can spend more on token then may stand chance but initial freebie era is over.

Question. Claude could be writing code so if test writer or reviewer subagent is trigger then what how will it check latest code being written? Are they advised to be run on different code than currently being created? I usually ask Claude to write tests when giving go ahead for implementation.
