June 1st starting on a Sunday feels right. Be intentional about entering into the second half of the year with God. Be excited to set new goals and achieve them, eat better, exercise more, and live life to the fullest. May God help and be with us all.
my therapist said “people who struggle with anxiety & depression can't remember a lot, bc they're too busy focusing on how to get through each moment so they don t actually experience what is happening to them, causing them to not form the memory they were supposed to” felt that.
yeah breakups hurt, but have you ever been a super talkative, enthusiastic person but slowly over the years and after trauma you watch yourself become more quieter and quieter to the point where that enthusiastic bubbly person just isn't who you are anymore?
As we’re 8 months into this year, Lord I thank you for keeping me and loved ones safe and alive. I am grateful for your protection, unfailing love, and mercy.
I'm kind of an absent friend like i will love you with my whole heart and go out of my way to give you any help you need but I tend to live in my own world and suck at keeping up communication and I'm really sorry to anyone who takes that personally.
Never forget that your presence is a blessing and your absence is always heavily felt. You are a once in a lifetime opportunity and anyone who meets you is lucky to have you in their life. You are the prize.
falling in love isn’t scary at all when the person you’re falling for shows up for you consistently, is considerate of your emotions and speaks your love language. i’d imagine at that point, it doesn’t feel like falling at all. floating in love perhaps.
Having people that love you is one thing. But having people who still love you when you’re a burden, still love you when things are a mess, still love you when you’re in the wrong…those are your people. To truly be loved is to still be loved when it’s inconvenient to love you.
the rage you suddenly feel on a random night after not feeling anything for awhile. "i didn't deserve to be treated like that" repeatedly playing in your mind, urging you to hate many things. yet you still have some love to give, even after it happened, even when you are angry.
