@KeeElisha@ProfessorStacie It is surprising for me too especially with observing because I do not remember any of that when I was still in school it didn’t seem that way at all
@ProfessorStacie I think the most surprising thing is how much goes into teaching behind the scenes. You see the regular grading papers, assignments, quizzes and more but no one sees how much effort and heart goes into teaching. It has also supposed me how many students struggle with themselves.
@mackbreeze_04@ProfessorStacie Covid affected everything, it is nice to see education moving forward especially with those students that may have struggled.
@ProfessorStacie A lot of unforeseen circumstances may impact education in the future like Covid did. Covid caused issues everywhere, especially in education with students falling behind. This is a good example of schools picking up and moving forward for a better future for students.
@ProfessorStacie I believe building a connection with students is important because it establishes a good feeling about school. You want students to look forward to class and engage, if class is something they want to avoid they will not learn.
@ProfessorStacie My biggest worry in the classroom is not being successful. I know the first year is a big trial and error but I want to feel some sort of accomplishment after my first year.
@tiffneymcc24@ProfessorStacie That would be great, but I think it has went the opposite direction. I believe they give you a specific criteria to follow and less educational freedom.
@ProfessorStacie I want to be remembered as a teacher that makes a difference. I want to be the teacher they wish they could have next year not only because they learned something but also because they enjoyed the class.
@mackbreeze_04@ProfessorStacie I have to agree, it’s nice when someone actually wants to come to class rather than knowing that’s the last place they want to be
