Canada’s Indigenous population accounts for 4.9% of the population. Despite representing such a small percentage of the population, they suffer from a range of health problems at a disproportionately higher rate than the general Canadian population. #EM203

@AshleyEM203 Hi Ashley, I think its amazing to see how far technology has already come to look forward to where we're going! It feels like just yesterday that smart boards were the newest thing on the block and in the span of a few short years they've been made ancient.
@EM203SGibson great map! You covered a multitude of issues. I think this article would be interesting to use as you further your research on homelessness and what we can do about it: https://t.co/twbrChlyYK
@em203dottysimoo Great concept map! Another environmental issue that you could include is poor governance - many organizations are not fit to deal with environmental and climate issues and there are an abundance of policy constraints government-wise. #EM203problems
@haye6570 I really liked your concept map & totally agree that there is an issue with "dumbing down" education. A problem that I have identified is that the value of education diminishes immensely when there is no accountability or there are no academic penalties. #EM203problems
@em203mlewis Thanks for your reply! I also plan on becoming a teacher and I am curious to see how technology and learning in a digital age will affect us from the teacher’s perspective. :)
The last 3 lessons of EM203 have been so fun and informative! I have learned so much about learning in a digital age and look forward to the rest of the semester. I am excited to see how technology will further impact education in the future. #EM203Robin
@em203natreusch Hello! Thanks for sharing. I think concept maps are a great resource for studying. I find them very helpful for memorization & making sure I understand everything about a specific idea.
@Em203Komonen Hi Matthew, thanks for sharing! I agree that technology has impacted the way we learn in a classroom. For those of us who wish to become teachers, it’ll be interesting to see how it will affect how we teach in a classroom.
@em203aashna Hey Aashna! I agree with your thoughts and I think that the digital age will continue to influence the way we learn. I am excited to see where technology will take education!
