There are many of us out there, who took the time to ACTUALLY READ & COMPREHEND what @jk_rowling has said from her very first tweet on this topic.

If you’re one of those people, you’ll know that she has NEVER said anything remotely ‘transphobic’, has regularly stood by transsexuals who were pilloried by TRA’s for being the ‘wrong kind of trans’ (‘Truscum’ is the word thrown at them), detransitioners, who also received an insane amount of abuse from the same fanatics & been HUGELY supportive of LGB people for years. Especially those with HIV when it was still a terminal diagnosis.

Unsurprisingly, most people did NOT read her words, but merely joined in a warped & cruel version of Chinese Whispers, without research, without critical thought, without reason. She became a target for every single misogynist to vent their spleens upon. The abuse was & is unrelenting, utterly psychotic & incredibly dangerous.

Yet many, especially in the Arts, including those who benefited from her name, & the financial comfort it gave them, chose to become part of that mob. Gleefully. Wilfully. Publicly. Mindlessly.

These people did NOT care to understand that there came a time that JKR’s gloves came off, with very good reason, & that standing her ground & fighting back, was done entirely in self-defence of herself & her family. To punch back at a bully is NOT an ‘attack’. Yet it gave these people all the fuel they craved. And they persisted, all whilst claiming the ‘higher ground’.

Shame on the media, specifically the “LGBTQIA+” mob, who danced a jig over the disgusting abuse she endures to this day. You disgust me.

Above ALL else, her voice has given SO many women & girls round the globe, hope & an empowerment that cannot be underestimated. She has remained constant, consistent & truthful & stood resolutely with & for those with no voice.

I sincerely hope that, ONE DAY SOON, she receives the public apologies she deserves, the gratitude she’s owed & shown the same love, thanks & respect millions of us already have for her.
