Chase Hughes walks through a hypothetical recruitment, and it starts with someone telling you he loves your podcast and then asking whether you'd consider yourself a patriot. That first yes is what he builds everything else on - your identity.

Next he asks if you'd be willing to look at something that might be uncomfortable. Then he shows you your browsing history and webcam captures from your phones and computers, offers to keep it all out of the public eye, and puts $20,000 a month on the table. All you have to do is keep a few people off the show and leave a few things out, for your country.

What gets me is that the protection covers more than your reputation. It also hands you a story you can live with, where every concession counts as service.

Apparently the benefits package includes getting to keep calling yourself independent.

We have released a free open source tool 'Zero Breach' - that can identify whether a recent Israeli spyware campaign left traces on your PC - the one Citizen Lab exposed, where Israeli ad-tech was used to infect journalists through 'no-click' ordinary ads.

It takes about 15 minutes. It only reads - it changes nothing, needs no admin, and never connects to the internet. It checks for 338 indicators and tells you if one of your browsers interacted with one of the infected ads in the past. (It also checks for Candiru infection)

They keep calling the audio fake, yet they’ve never produced solid proof that it is. I’m not claiming it’s 100% real; just laying out a few possibilities.

Christian preacher James Wickstrom put it out. They brand him an “open antisemite,” the same label thrown around so freely today that it’s lost almost all meaning.

Maybe a real rabbi agreed to talk on his show under a false name. Anyone who attached their real identity to those admissions wouldn’t last long once angry parents came looking.

Some of the numbers might be exaggerated. That doesn’t mean the whole thing is invented.
