This is Shweta Sanjiv Bhatt,

5 years ago today, we witnessed a grave injustice that shook our very core.

Sanjiv Bhatt, a fearless, honest, and brave officer, was wrongfully incarcerated by a vindictive government in a blatant and futile attempt to break his spirit and silence his resolute commitment to truth and justice.

Today, as we mark the completion of 5 long years of Sanjiv’s wrongful incarceration, 5 years of our fight for justice … we stand utterly inspired by Sanjiv’s indomitable strength, his unyielding courage and his unwavering determination.

This regime has systematically abused its power and institutions to silence and bury Sanjiv’s voice …. But instead of breaking him, these past years have forged Sanjiv into a symbol of unwavering strength and unyielding courage.

This regime thought they may be able to weaken Sanjiv’s resolve, break him …. but weak cowardly men, crippled by fear and greed cannot measure the grit and strength of someone like Sanjiv … for he does not break under pressure, he does not become despondent when battered, he fights and he fights stronger than ever … because unlike this regime, his strength does not lie in power amassed by fear; Sanjiv’s strength lies in his honesty, in his integrity, his principles, his family and the tens and thousands of well-wishers who pray for him and support him.

This draconian regime’s efforts to suppress Sanjiv, has only further cemented his resolve and has made him stronger than ever!

Sanjiv is a Fighter ... a Survivor … in these last 22 years, and specially these last 5 years, Sanjiv, I and our children have endured and survived the unimaginable and we have all come out stronger than ever … so much so that there is nothing that can break us.

In a world where power often trumps principle, Sanjiv has always stood his ground courageously, always choosing to hold onto his truth and integrity, despite facing a system that wields force without conscience.

Sanjiv’s fight for justice serves as a stark reminder that truth and integrity can never be imprisoned!

Sanjiv Bhatt is a name that resonates with unwavering courage and indomitable spirit, a symbol of resilience and righteousness in the face of continuing unjust persecution.

Let us pledge today, that together, we will ensure that the darkness of injustice will be dispelled, and the light of truth and righteousness will triumph ….

That this be the last time we count the number of years Sanjiv has spent away from his family and loved ones ..

Let us together promise to bring Sanjiv back home!!
