The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders has issued a Call for Input to inform her report to the 61st session of the Human Rights Council: https://t.co/Q3jenwPZYr. 
The Call notes that the Special Rapporteur would like to hear from human rights defenders directly "on how they view their human rights work, the environment in which that work takes place and changes they would like to see for the greater support of their work." On the 4th death anniversary of Fr. Stan, @HRDA_India stands in solidarity with Fr. Stan and all other human rights defenders in India.

The State government of Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand should immediately enact law for the protection of Human Rights Defenders Act in tribute of Fr. Stan Swamy and for the solidarity of million other human rights defenders who face reprisal.

The Chief minister of Jharkhand @HemantSorenJMM should immediately drop all charges against Fr. Stan, a criminal case which did not see the trial after 4 long years, violating all criminal procedures and principles of natural justice.
