We would love a similar emphasis to the @cbic_india for customs & GST officials

Key words mentioned by you are missing in another vertical of revenue - empathy, fairness & efficiency

Trucks are held & penalized for errors not evasion showing no empathy towards taxpayers and the poor truck driver

Unjust penalty is levied under Section 129 of GST showing no fairness even though there is clear documentation showing no evasion

Efficiency is lost and India's logistics cost is above 9% today due to such causes. Even the efficiency to settle such intervention takes more than 3 years today!

We hope some attention will be paid to indirect taxes as well and field functionaries will be motivated & empowered with the required changes in law

At the same time I would like to bring to your kind notice that corruption level in Govt depts is now 10 fold. Sometimes people drop the business ideas as the amount of corruption is higher than their earnings .

We have installed 2 city lifts in Pinnacle Gold building, Almedia park , Bandra West, Mumbai.
In the past 2 months, both the lifts have malfunctioned more than 20 times !
Imagine the plight of a patient staying on the 10th floor with both lifts not working.

Today 26th Oct,at 4 AM all roads to exit the airport were blocked & one has to compulsory enter the parking lot & pay Rs.260 to exit .

Huge amounts collected at Nhavasheva Port by empty yards from truck drivers which delay vehicle movement and increase cost burden @shipmin_india

This New Year let's hope some of these issues are addressed for the road transport sector to see the ease of doing business kick in!

Respected PM sir, welcome to Mumbai on 8th Oct.
However,regret to say that your one visit costs the exim trade crores of rupees in demurrage / detention as traffic is stopped for the entire day in the JNPT area.
Can we please do something about this?

Madam , E-way bill was introduced to curb tax evasion, but it has become a source of corruption as GST officials on highways catch hold of trucks on minor mistakes, even though there are high court judgements available.

I represent the road transport industry and the general feeling is that the road conditions in and around Mumbai are very poor. Frequent no entries at Thane have killed our business and JNPT port is also losing business to Gujarat .

Since SCLR bridge is now open, the right turn at the SCLR junction be closed and the left turn be made free. Those travelling towards vile parle from kalina can take a U turn under kalanagar jn.
This way one will save 15 minutes .

Sir I am a die hard BJP supporter . I am in logistics business.
However looking at the current situation of roads and the problems faced by Truckers at JNPT & Mum- Gujarat route,we are suffering heavy losses . I am in 2 minds if I should vote for BJP

@TelanganaCMO are State Tax officials not being paid in your State? Recently a truck was wrongly detained and eventually released after the intervention of AITWA. The officials demanded Rs 10000 citing need for money for their team expenses !

Today you have shared the evasion details. A report on how much evasion is detected through eway bill must also be published. Eway bill has become a harassment tool where cargo/vehicle is held hostage and huge amounts of corruption is happening!

@nitin_gadkari recently you highlighted the need to reduce logistics cost in India. If trucks are going to be held this way how will logistics cost improve?

Like heavy challans are imposed, why not high detention charge be mandated for holding trucks so that it becomes a deterrent and the service user use logistics infrastructure more efficiently

श्रीमान,महाकुंभ के हर दिन करीब २ करोड़ आए और सुचारू रूप से व्यवस्था चली. खाटू मेले में करीब 5 लाख श्रद्धालु आएंगे, परंतु व्यवस्था इतनी सख्त कर रखी है, जैसे 5 करोड़ रोज आयेंगे. यात्रियों को सुविधा कम, तकलीफ ज्यादा हो रही है.
