Dear Government,

This girl, Ruchika Singh, has been booked for making abusive and vulgar remarks against PM Modi during a protest.

I don't want to see her in custody, but some action is necessary to set an example for the so-called Gen Z about what is morally right and wrong. A written apology should also be required.

Parents, teach your kids to speak up against the government or anyone else, loud and clear. But also teach them to stop when they cross the line.

She has every right to be angry with the government and protest against it. But she has no right to abuse anyone publicly.

Teach them to raise their voice, but also teach them to respect limits.

@vikramchopra Great to know that you are one of the founders of @cars24india. Recently had bad experience with your Faridabad-121001 team. Man in touch with my office knew that car for sale is in Private Limited Company’s name but refused to accept sale invoice. According to him your company issues invoice for the purchase of vehicles. Sorry to state that your company employed is so ill informed. During phone call and in WhatsApp message he was duly informed of our asking price+ GST ( GST applicable on the margin value [sale value minus depreciated value/book value] ). He agreed to asking price but said that no sale invoice is acceptable as @cars24india would issue invoice and no GST is involved. That guy needs to understand invoicing and taxation. Hope @cars24india is registered under GST and GST set off is taken on purchase and sales. Request attention of @cars24india in the matter to square up the deal immediately.

The facts now in public domain prove that:
DCP authorised the use of pellet guns. Police denial was false.
Police top brass allowed policemen in plain clothes to beat up students.
Police top brass asked policemen involved in beating up youth to remove their name tags.
Police top brass got a truck filled with stones & a smashed van that they had seized & parked at 4 am in front of Jantar Mantar. This was obviously in preparation for getting stones thrown at the protesters.
Remember, the police Commissioner was changed hurriedly, just before 20th July.
The question is: Could all this have happened without the consent of Amit Shah who controls Delhi Police?
Rahul Gandhi raised the correct question today in parliament about Amit Shah who has been absconding with Modi.
Shah must be held accountable for all this. He must be forced to resign!

दिल्ली पुलिस ने SFI नेता आइशी घोष को गिरफ़्तार करने की कोशिश में CPI(M) के हेडक्वार्टर, AKG भवन में ज़बरदस्ती घुसने की कोशिश की।

CPI(M) के राज्यसभा सांसद जॉन ब्रिटास ने इस गैर-कानूनी कोशिश का कड़ा विरोध किया और पुलिस को पार्टी हेडक्वार्टर के अंदर यह गैर-कानूनी कार्रवाई करने से रोकने के लिए ज़ोरदार दखल दिया। पुलिस एक प्राइवेट गाड़ी में आई थी, कुछ लोग बिना यूनिफ़ॉर्म के थे और सवाल पूछे जाने पर वे चले गए।

किसी राजनीतिक पार्टी के ऑफ़िस में इस तरह की बेबाक घुसपैठ और छात्र प्रदर्शनकारियों के ख़िलाफ़ लगातार की जा रही कार्रवाई, लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों पर मोदी सरकार के बढ़ते हमले को उजागर करती है। छात्रों की जायज़ चिंताओं को दूर करने के बजाय, सरकार असहमति को डराने, चुप कराने और उसे अपराध की श्रेणी में डालने के लिए पुलिस की ताक़त का इस्तेमाल कर रही है।
