Not ALL Muslims are ISIS. That is very true.
The Kurds are playing this role of helping and protecting Christians very well to impress the West. However, the Kurds are oppressing the Assyrians as the indigenous people of northern Iraq.
Does the Barzani protect the human rights of the Assyrian (Chaldeans and Suryan)?
If so, why does he not execute the orders of the courts and return the Assyrian lands that the Kurdish politicians and tribe leaders seized in Ankawa, Nahla, Sapna, etc.
If Barzani is really protecting the rights of the Assyrian Christians, when will he stop interfering in the internal affairs of the Assyrian people.
If Barzani really cares, why did he since 2003 undermine the votes of the Assyrian people who elected the ADM in so many elections and created puppet parties that are loyal to the KDP and pushed them forwards?
If Barzani really protected the Assyrians, why did his peshmerga withdrew without a fight when they were responsible for the security file in Nineveh Plain (and Sinjar)?
If Barzani cares, why does he not officially recognize the Assyrians as the indigenous people of the region?
If Barzani really cares, why does he insult the Assyrians and allow the curriculum in the Kurdish region to present the criminals Simko or Bedr Khan as national heroes?
If Barzani really cares and protects the Assyrians, why did he forcefully remove the Assyrian mayors in Alqosh and Telkepe and replaced them with his own people?
If Barzani really cared about the Assyrians, why didn't he capture and imprison the murderers of Francis Yousif Shabo (1993) who was the Assyrian representative in the Kurdish parliament and allowed the killers to walk free in the streets?
Should I go on?
@xujnx@NergalGate2 Nestorian is a misnomer and a insult.
We are Assyrians, Nestorians are follower of Nestorius a Greek Bishop from the 4. / 5. Century
@aryozara@pan017585811348 5-6 Mio. but doesnt matter, this is the historic Assyrian homeland, although our numbers have dwindled significantly due to the genocides and massacres perpetrated by the Turks, Arabs, and Kurds, there is a silver lining to our displacement: our numbers are growing 🤌
@FAlqosh@unitedassyria These are Assyrian cities, the Chaldean and Aramean tribes migrated from the Syrian Desert to various parts of Assyria and Babylonia around 1000 B.C.
Biologically and genetically, it is not possible for us to be descended from these tribes.
