@HappyFunNorm@kimpossiblefact Didn’t say the man was right. Just said the pity party he’s trying to have for Texas needs criticism. Any argument trying to get a foothold in the anti green energy debate needs to be stamped out. Sorry if it sounded like I was defending him
@RealDylanKnight@GoodhauerU@kimpossiblefact He ain’t my cartoonist. I think the cartoon sucks, and I think the person who drew it sucks. But the break downs of it weren’t using his flawed arguments, which deserve the same criticism as the extreme of what the cartoon could mean
@Revanaught1 @GoodhauerU@kimpossiblefact I don’t doubt he’s being an asshole. But I think it’s more like “Green energy would have done worse than non green energy” or “it has the same weaknesses” rather than saying it’s at fault. 90% of Texas’ power ain’t green after all. It’s a gas and coal guzzler.
@GoodhauerU@kimpossiblefact Definitely but that’s not what the cartoon is about. The cartoonist is saying “why are you criticizing me during a disaster? Our green energy isn’t relevant, and besides we’re trying to do that”
@kimpossiblefact For those who don't get it: Texas considers itself a leader in wind energy. In MW capacity, it is the leader in the US. However, Texas is a big state, and it's still a major polluter. The cartoon is trying to convey that Texas is trying--and AOC is saying "not hard enough."
Idk who needs to hear this—but people protesting over their right to life is not the same a people protesting over their right to supremacy. Stop comparing #BLM to literal N*zis.
