@Ryandally08@conserv1951 Translation: Aussie jobs crisis to follow closely behind the housing crisis. Australia’s will very likely be shut out of jobs as well if this trend continues.
@SizweBansii@Lifeofsvc In saying Iran, I think he would mean “Persia” as there was no Iran in those days, just as there was no Pakistan. This also fits with accounts of how the early church expanded to the far east during the second & third centuries from Persia to spread the Gospel as far as China.
@ausvstheagenda Meanwhile media in general doesn’t do shows like “How Green Is My Cactus” anymore where “Bob” and “Hazel” were stars of the show every weekend morning while making breakfast and filling out lunch orders for the kids. Mainstream Political Satire needs a comeback.
@ChrisLXXXVI Gee, does that go for any A9X Torana that happens to be situated within the Motorsport museum over in Bathurst? And what about any mint or near mint condition 1983 HDT VH Commodores floating around? This is political bollocks that once again misses the point!
“Dramatic scenes in Ballarat as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's motorcade is chased by a convoy of angry farmers in their tractors.” - Herald Sun 🚗 💨 🚜 💨
I think the room is pretty easy to read, except the one with the microphone just doesn’t get it and keeps on taking to country folk like their suburbanites. They certainly aren’t tourists!!!
Wow! The people and farmers are seething!
Perhaps Jacinta shouldn’t block comments on X—it’s creating a distorted view of how people truly feel: pure fury and betrayal!
Time to stand down and read the room, Jacinta! 😡👇🏽
@alandidio I actually think it quite possibly could be because verse 19 starts by saying “Your dead shall live, your dead bodies shall arise.” I tend to easily think of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 here. So verse 19 & 20 could very well be about this as preceding his judgement of the nations.
@rabbriansamuel I think “Rock & Roll” is a pretty broad term. Culture does tend to take it a certain way, but I don’t think it’s ever been just that. At the end of the day it’s an aspect of contemporary music that continues to change. Personally, I like playing in 4/4 & 6/8. Especially in G ;-)
It’s actually been a busy couple of weeks around here getting some admin stuff done prior to the digital reissue of 3 albums from the 2010’s & the newly remastered second edition of “Awakening” album plus some bonus content.
Plus I’m still working on new songs…
@InSaneGD88@gonefishin1948@Deep_biblestudy No. You’re just having trouble reconciling this verse to 1 Peter ch 2 and Isaiah 28:16 due to your paradime. The Apostles and prophets are by no means greater than Christ!! Good night sir!!!
@InSaneGD88@gonefishin1948@Deep_biblestudy Well I see you’ve got your run of the mill RCC doctrine going there. I don’t buy it and never have. History tends to tells its tale either way and pretty soon I think we’re all going to find out which way is up and which way is not. I’m tired and I’m going to bed.
@InSaneGD88@gonefishin1948@Deep_biblestudy Btw, the Chief Cornerstone is the bedrock. So the answer to which is greater is: the Bedrock that supports the whole building including its foundations. Again, I bring it back to Isaiah 28:16. This was always about Jesus and was unpacked by Peter himself in 1 Pet 2:4-6.
@InSaneGD88@gonefishin1948@Deep_biblestudy You missed the whole point because Petros isn’t Petra. In Greek there are two forms of the word “Rock” in the verse. And don’t get me started on the “Keys” reference. Btw, all twelve are foundational pillars, but no man is equal or exulted over Jesus himself and He is the Head!
@cudchewerchad@newstart_2024 No, it was just a case of “take it or loose your job” depending on what industry you worked in. They didn’t force it, they got industry to do the dirty work.
