10 years. 10 years. I’ve listened to every Dem & never Trump pundit call Trump, Elon and anyone else who voted Republican a Nazi. And now they line up behind Platner, with an actual Nazi tattoo. Unbelievable.
Today, we remember and honor the selfless US military heroes who sacrificed everything for our great nation and for us. May each of us thank God for their courage and profound sacrifice made to preserve our freedoms, ask Him to wrap our troops in His hedge of protection, and may God bless America.
The Tazewell Court ruling does the following:
- DECLARES that any and all votes for or against the proposed constitutional amendment in the April 21, 2026 special election are ineffective
- ENJOINS Defendants and their successors from certifying the results of the April 21, 2026 special election
This is pretty amazing
Democrats leaned so heavily on Fairfax to drive the entire referendum, but Republicans actually drove enough turnout to win 3 of the new districts, got “The Lobster” within 0.3, and 2 others blue districts within 5.
CNN's @ScottJenningsKY on Virginia's Democrat gerrymander: "Virginia had -- literally had the fairest maps in the nation. They had a 6-5 map, six Democrats, five Republicans. In terms of proportional representation, they had the fairest map in the nation. That was drawn, by the way, by an independent commission that the voters asked for just a few years ago. Now they will have the least fair maps in the nation. And I'm not surprised that the yes vote won. They had all the money and all the lies. And sometimes in politics, when you got those two things, you can put something over the line, even something as egregious as this. This whole thing has driven Spanberger's approval ratings down into the toilet. She lied to the people of Virginia. They had to write a ballot question that was a joke. They drew maps that were a joke. Now you're going to have huge chunks of rural Virginia represented by 5 or 6 Democrats who all live in Northern Virginia, within about 15 miles of each other. It's a complete joke. Everybody knows it. And there's a reason that all these national Democrats and all their money came into Virginia, because, you know, they don't really care about the people of Virginia. They just care about power."
Thank you to all the voters who turned out to vote against this egregious power grab. The race was much closer than the left expected because Virginians know a 10-1 map is not Virginia. I urge the Virginia Supreme Court to rule against this unconstitutional process that will disenfranchise millions of Virginians.
It's worth recapping just how many state laws Virginia Democrats violated in order to actually do this referendum.
They kept a special session open for two years, pushed it through with early voting already underway in last year's governor's race, and failed to publish it three months before an election.
They wrote an extremely misleading ballot question, also in violation of the law, that claimed creating a 10D-1R map was a "temporary measure" to "restore fairness," in order to influence a particular result.
And yet, a referendum passing by less than 5 points will allow them to create a 10D-1R map in a state that voted for Kamala by 6 points.
If only Republicans would use the power they gain to ruthlessly govern instead of lecturing us about 'norms and procedures.'
Today, Virginia gets to find out if Fairfax will have five Democrat members of Congress that all live within 20 miles of each other and represent towns that are further drives from them than New Jersey.
Check the manipulative language on the ballot today in Virginia - the words "restore fairness" imply congressional districting up to this point was unfair. It was not. Today's voting is about preventing cheating. I voted to protect true representative government today.
Former Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R): “I have more to give. I just do… Every morning I woke up literally bounding out of bed, ready to roll. And that was the most purposeful I’ve ever felt in my whole life — ever felt in my whole life. I’ve been out of office for six weeks. I took Suzanne on vacation, which she so deserved—she’s been amazing, and she’s one of the best first ladies in America. But six weeks has felt like six years. I mean — I’m just champing at the bit.”
Sean Hannity: “But you have a good relationship with Trump? Have you talked about maybe going in?”
Glenn Youngkin: “We do. I do — I do. So, what he and I talked about before I was done was me finishing. And I always deeply respected him because he believed that when I told him I needed to finish, that I was committed to it, and he was going to let me do it. And so that was one of those moments where he reminds us that he hears you and he respects what you’re saying, and I always appreciated that.”
He is Risen!
“Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope” (Living Hope)
I’m told @GovernorVA74 has made a six-figure transfer from his political org to the anti-gerrymandering (NO) campaign in VA. Dems trying to turn one of the fairest maps in the country into an egregious 10-1 partisan gerrymander. April 21 snap election to change the constitution.
Worth the listen. There is no “good enough.” Heaven, to stand before God requires holy perfection— a standard we can’t meet. Yet Christ took on our sin, our debt, and paid it. By grace, if we trust Him as Lord, He clothes us with His perfect righteousness, reconciling us to God.
I'm going to keep posting this Alstair Begg clip "The Man on the Middle Cross" (less than four minutes in length) every Holy Week, because its message is true in 2026, it will be true in 2036 and it will be true in 3036.
"If i take my eyes off the cross, I can then give only lip service to its efficacy while at the same time living as if my salvation depends upon me.
And as soon as you go there it will lead you either to abject despair or a horrible kind of arrogance.
And it is only the cross of Christ that deals both with the dreadful depths of despair and the pretentious arrogance of the pride of man that says you know, I can figure this out."
Having been deluged with millions $$$ worth of (virtually uncontested & stunningly dishonest) propaganda in favor of a partisan gerrymandering scheme, today I eagerly voted NO. Virginia Democrats’ corrupt, deceitful power grab should be defeated. Question wording is wild. NO!
VA Dem lies. It was @SenLouiseLucas HERSELF that voted and passed the UNANIMOUS Virginia Senate approval in 2009 to exempt data centers from sales & use tax
These are not Youngkin tax breaks. Louise’s vote is on them… not Glenn’s
