Imagine a world where we valued something above money. What would our first question be when we meet someone instead of where they work?
Where do you volunteer? Who do you serve? What do you create? What brings you joy? What are you learning? What do you teach others?

Capitalism is a fucked system. It values corporations and money over people. It makes us all OBSESSED with jobs. Your job is your identity. It becomes how others define you, how you define yourself. It's where you put all of your energy and time.

It's one if the 1st things we ask about a person. Even how we ask is weird "what do you do?" When what we mean is "what do you do for money?" What a person DOES can be SO much more. But we've stopped valuing anything else. Not service, not the arts (unless they're rich & famous)
