Denying entry for being late is one the most idiotic rules to exist. What exactly are you losing by allowing a late student to write the exam? Don't come at me with the "but it's to ensure discipline". Bc no one ever deliberately gets late. The entire system is filled w sadists.
india ke paas paise ki kummi nahi hai. awareness ki hai.
BioCompute, @y_unstoppably 's company, has raised over 5 crores over the last 2 years from: WTF fund, Grad Capital, 1517 Fund and more.
If I wrote about all the awards that she has won in the last two years, I would miss the point.
The point is: she is leaving. For two reasons:
1. Capital
2. Talent
In one of the many conversations i have had with her, this one stuck with me:
"There are Indians in the US who I know I will be hiring. They don't want to raise their kids there. They want to come home."
So this isn't about talent either. It's about money. If there's capital for people like Anagha, starting with Anagha, the dam will break.
Bring our men and women home. Spread the word. If you're a VC interested in being part of BioCompute's Seed round, email me: [email protected] or check the link in bio.
And by the way, this isn't a last ditch effort to help Anagha raise her Seed round. She has commitments in SF. that's quite literally why she is moving there.
This is a small attempt to keep bleeding edge DNA storage technology within Indian borders. I believe in Anagha.

The United States will be the best soccer team in the world in 8 years
Every kid in the states is watching the World Cup and picking up a soccer ball after this tournament
Till date, I have never understood why international cricketers are given government jobs by state governments. They are already earning crores, they don't serve in those positions, and many of them don't even meet the qualifications required for those posts.
What is the logic behind this? You're taking away a seat from a deserving aspirant who is studying hard to get a government job for a stable future. That job may not change a cricketer's future, but it can transform someone else's life.
Instead of handing out government posts as giveaway to sportspersons, those opportunities should go to people who genuinely need and deserve it.

The Tragic Story of How India Was Deindustrialized
Between 1813 and 1853, 3 Acts of British Parliament killed 3 world-leading Indian industries.
Bengal cotton, South Indian wootz steel, and Indian Ocean shipbuilding - all demolished within forty years. Manchester, Sheffield, and Lloyd's of London grew on the corpses.
Three years in Dubai has taught me something nobody ever wrote on a Western opinion page.
The whole “you need democracy to be free” thing is a marketing campaign.
What you actually need is a government that does its job. Streets that work. A bank that doesn’t treat you like a suspect for earning money. Schools that teach. Hospitals that heal. Police that show up. Borders that filter. A passport that opens doors instead of closing them.
The West sold the world on the idea that voting every 4 years for two interchangeable parties was the highest form of human freedom. Meanwhile the country they called authoritarian built the cleanest, safest, most efficient city most of these critics will never see in person.
Freedom isn’t a ballot. It’s the ability to walk home at 1 AM, raise your kids in peace, run a business without getting punished for it, and live a life the people in charge don’t actively try to make harder.
Dubai has more of that than London, Paris, Berlin, San Francisco, and Toronto combined right now. The voters in those cities can vote all they want. They’ve been voting themselves into a slower decline for a decade.
I didn’t move here for the weather. I moved here because this was the first place I lived where the country was actually on my side. 🇦🇪
Kansa Football Stadium
When I was in the USA, I watched one NFL match at Levi's stadium. I was stunned by looking at that Gigantic stadium. I wished that India should also have same kind of Stadium for Cricket.
Now, we have Narendra Modi stadium but USA has more than 15 such stadiums having capacity between 60k to 90k.
The reason the USA has such Gigantic and well maintained stadiums is because all such stadiums were built and maintained by big corporate houses. No municipality and govt intervention. After land documents, it is all with the corporate.
- No Babus
- No Municipality
- No govt intervention
The road was built, toll tax was implemented, vehicles started running, revenue started coming in...
Only one thing got lost along the way—compensation for farmers.
Finally, the farmers wondered, if the government can farm on paper, why can't we farm for real near the toll? 🌾
In Firozpur, Punjab, farmers sowed paddy, reminding them that the land was, is, and will always be theirs.
Govt cares for only 3 ppl. Poor ppl cz their vote is easy to buy. Farmers cz no one else has so much free time and super rich cz they help in buying the votes of the poor. Rest everyone else can go to hell wd their daily inconvenience and tax and EMIs

When we got married, my husband and I agreed that we won’t entertain visitors for for more than 1 week and they must inform us before coming.
10 months after our marriage, I lost my mum. Guess who had been accommodating my two younger ones for over 3 years?
We sometimes say things due to lack of experience, it is when life present us with the real deal that we know who our people are.
An electrician named Mohd. Mehtab was riding his bike without a helmet in Uttar Pradesh.
Police stopped him and issued a challan of ₹6,000.
Mehtab kept requesting:
"My monthly salary is only ₹5,000. Please let me go, I'm just traveling nearby."
But the police didn't listen.
Angry, he later checked electricity records and found that the same police station had not paid its electricity bill for 3 years.
Outstanding dues: ₹55,000+.
So Mehtab climbed the electric pole, disconnected the power supply of the police station, and handed them their own unpaid bill.
The man who couldn't escape a ₹6,000 challan ended up cutting electricity of a police station that owed ₹55,000.

What is India doing wrong in football?
Because we are poor country and we think sports is not the tkt out to poverty. Things are changing- you will see a diff participation in next 20 years.
Serious question:
Why does India underperform in most global sports relative to its massive population?
You rarely see Indian athletes or teams dominating at the Olympics or in major World Cups outside of cricket. What are the main reasons for this?

Vinod Khosla - 40-year VC, $50M OpenAI backer in 2018 - says AI agents can do most of what TCS, Infosys, and Wipro charge for. The displacement is not a question of if. Only when.
India's only path: pivot engineering talent to AI deployment for healthcare, education, and agriculture. Very few companies anywhere in the world know how to do this. The window is short.

All US stadiums are multi purpose venues that can host the NFL, WWE, music concerts, and now even the FIFA World Cup. Some stadiums, like the one in Oakland, are now also being used for cricket in MLC.
Meanwhile, Indian state governments are pointlessly building average cricket stadiums in every corner of the country and handing them over to the BCCI, which is already struggling to fill matches.
India needs multi purpose infrastructure, BIG TIME.
India entered the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final against Pakistan as overwhelming favorites. But the match was already lost before the first ball was bowled.
At that time, Virat Kohli and coach Anil Kumble were involved in a massive ego clash behind the scenes. The dressing room atmosphere had completely broken down, with Kohli unhappy with Kumble’s strict management style and openly going against team discussions.
Virat ignored the planned strategy and chose to field first on a flat batting pitch at The Oval, directly helping Pakistan. The Indian team looked mentally disconnected throughout the match while Pakistan completely dominated.
What made fans even more suspicious was that after the humiliating loss, several Indian players looked heartbroken… but Virat Kohli was seen smiling and laughing during post match moments.
Just two days later, Anil Kumble resigned as India’s head coach, officially confirming that his relationship with the captain had become completely untenable.
