एक अच्छा शिक्षक कितना कुछ बदल सकता है! बालक को संभवतः इस आयु में माता-पिता के जाने की पीड़ा का भार समझ में आता भी नहीं हो, पर वो विद्यालय जा रहा है, पढ़ रहा है! इस वीडियो पर मैं बहुत कुछ लिख सकता हूँ, परंतु शिक्षक के इस व्यवहार ने हृदय को शान्ति दी।

बच्चा अनुशासित है, बाल व्यवस्थित हैं, कपड़ों में बटन है, जो ही पहना है साफ़ है, ठीक से पहन रखा है।

ऐसे शिक्षक पिता और देवता तुल्य होते हैं। बात कपड़े की नहीं है, बात उसे अपनी तरफ़ खींच कर उसे ढाढ़स देने की है कि वो अच्छे से रहे, पढ़ाई करे। ये शब्द आपका चरित्र निर्माण करते हैं। इतनी नकारात्मकता के मध्य यह वीडियो मेरे दिन को कितना सकारात्मक बना गया, मैं कह नहीं सकता।

यही विपन्नता, यही कपड़े की कमी, यही बोरे पर बैठ कर पढ़ाई... 1990 के दशक में कई बच्चे इसी निर्धनता में जी रहे थे। ऐसे हज़ारों बच्चे उपहास का पात्र बनते हैं, उन्हें स्नेह नहीं मिलता। पुनः प्रणाम इस शिक्षक को।
