Behind the legend of Diego Armando Maradona stood one man: his father, Don Diego. 🇦🇷❤️
When asked about his idol, Maradona never named a footballer. He always said:
“My only idol was my father. He never complained, even after working exhausting shifts in a factory just to feed his children. While everyone wanted to be like me, I only wanted to be like him.”
Even though the family lived in poverty, Don Diego sacrificed everything to support his son’s dream.
Maradona once recalled:
“When my father bought me my first pair of real leather football boots, I knew how hard he had worked to afford them.
That night, I slept hugging those boots because they were made from my father’s sweat and sacrifice.” ❤️
Hats off to these 2 Indian ladies for showing this idiot Kangladeshi his place for having abused India in Italy. Glad they didn’t let him go and made him apologize. 👏🏻👏🏻

Looks like cutting Basalt Rock with steel tools is not enough to produce a Kailasnath Temple. Mystery! Did Indians have access to some other tech to achieve this feat?

Some 4000 years back people of this subcontinent (or whatever they used to call themselves back then) were using baked bricks, baked pottery, drain pipes, precise weighing stones and seals for business purpose.
Pictures from my visit to Kalibangan of Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan. Which was part of Harappan culture. The wonder that was India.
As Arthur Llewellyn Basham in his book writes;
“The earliest Europeans to visit India found a culture fully conscious of its own antiquity - a culture which indeed
Exaggerated that antiquity, and claimed not to have fundamentally changed for many thousand of years.
To this day legends known to humblest Indian recall the names of shadowy chieftains who lived nearly a thousand years before Christ, and the orthodox Brahmin in his daily worship repeats hymns composed even earlier. India and China, in fact, the oldest continuous cultural traditions in the world.”
29,000 have died in our one house since we began in 1952. We give them a special ticket of St. Peter. It's so beautiful to see people die with so much joy. - Mother Teresa

Instead of a cold tombstone, this actor buried his mother’s memory in thousands of blooming trees
When his mother passed on, Sayaji Shinde gathered indigenous seeds equal to her body weight, and planted them.
Today, those seeds have grown into vast forests: breathing life, giving shade, bearing fruit, and sheltering birds
He says his mother still lives with him… in every rustling leaf and fragrant flower 🥹❤️
Isn’t it a meaningful way to honor someone you love?
