@DzogchenYogi@AbhishBanerj Change takes time. Can’t upend the old structure overnight and then expect things to go smoothly.
Things have been changing slowly but changing nevertheless. Party workers with the zero dynasty history have been made CMs. Mohan Yadav and Bhajan Lal Sharma are prime examples.
@DzogchenYogi@AbhishBanerj Good! Now that cricket is out of the equation, we are getting somewhere.
Modi himself enforced that only one member from a family was given the ticket at any point in time. This wasn’t the case before. Multiple gens from same political families held plum positions. Modi ended it.
@DzogchenYogi@AbhishBanerj How did Sharad Pawar justify being in that position? The man was a politician then and now and was also the BCCI president.
Did your own clarity have this fact from the history factored in?
@DzogchenYogi@AbhishBanerj But, isn’t that a politics-cricket crossover?
This argument would have carried more weight if Jay Shah was in line for a ministerial position in the Modi government.
@rishibagree It’s not that the ones who are leaving have suddenly developed a conscience. The exodus is to preserve their ill-gotten wealth lest they show up on the government radar and become targets of enquiries.
@AbhishBanerj Many Liberals, Muslims derisively talk about this “WhatsApp University”.
Nobody mentions those “WhatsApp Mobs”
1. Quickly add contacts to a WhatsApp group
2. Send messages to congregate at the place of worship
3. Gather, shout slogans, arson & riots
4. Disband the WhatsApp group
@ByRakeshSimha It’s the economy.
During boom times more workers are needed to make the existing businesses richer. Nobody bats an eye.
During bust times the illegals (read freeloaders) and the legal, hardworking immigrants (read job-hogs with an “unfair advantage”) are targeted.
@AbhishBanerj Congress to Modi Ji - Show us your degree! 😠
Congress to Joseph Vijay - No degree? So what? Here’s our support. 🫠
Truth doesn’t matter. Media management matters.
@dogra_ns Wishing Arfa Ji a long and healthy life so that she can witness the ascent of the BJP for many decades to come and continue to rant about it with full vigor. 🙏🏻
@aandolun Very well written. 👏
A thin line exists between pride and ego. For the lack of balanced narratives from the biased historians, leaders, and the media, the populace began crossing over to the ego’s side many decades ago. The sad outcome has been there for everyone to see.
