When people launch their own VC fund, they often believe that their main job is investing in and supporting great founders.
Yeah sure--but that's only part of it.
Backoffice can easily take 30% of your time, which most aspiring VCs do not realize.

If you are doing something primarily for money and without a real emotional commitment, it will translate into something that lacks a soul and that has no connection to you.

Here are the career principles I wish I knew when I was starting out:
In healthtech, CAC and LTV are broken. Most companies are bleeding as they own the CAC where as true LTV is enjoyed by hospital, doctor or pharma. Unless, we start owning the entire LTV, healthtech impact/opportunity will remain limited.
I had a 25 year old female patient referred to my OPD a couple of months back. She had wrapped a handkerchief over her face and was in severe distress. She had been rejected by a guy because of a tiny patch of white skin on her cheek & had been advised by elders to not marry! 1/n
