He has been kept in complete isolation with no meetings whatsoever for over 8 months now. Both he & his wife have a fundamental right to a fair trial and to the protection of basic prisoners’ rights. The situation is deeply concerning and dire for both of them.

A very welcome step, not just for the region but for the entire world. Peace and prosperity must be the primary drivers of relations, especially among Muslim countries. Those who seek to fuel conflict and instability should not be allowed to derail efforts toward a more peaceful future.
All credit must go to Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye who have stood on the right side of history. Displaying a strong sense of responsibility in supporting dialogue, stability, and regional cooperation.

Pakistanis from ALL walks of life have not suffered this much in recent memory as they have over the past two years. A sense of misery and hopelessness looms over the country.
Even if one puts aside for a second the atrocities laid upon Imran Khan and PTI, there is still virtually zero deliverance in any sector. Beyond diplomatic efforts for the Iran-USA conflict, this regime has little to boast about.
A government built on optics can only produce photo ops, not progress. Pakistan today appears to be run by either con artists or bluff masters with no real roadmap for governance, relief, or reform.
A lot of reflection is needed before the damage becomes irreversible.
