Sushma Swaraj During passport renewal (file BO2072490989018) my passport was declared 'damaged' and made to pay additional 1500, only for GO to stamp "Cancelled" and return passport. This despite having used it for 9 years & even on 29 April 2018 without problem. Seems illogical

@MEAQuery On application for renewal of passport, my passport was declared 'damaged' and I was charged 1500 only to have it stamped 'cancelled'. This despite having used it only few weeks earlier without problem. None of the officers were able to give consistent cause of damage.
