Telehealth isn’t going anywhere, even in orthopedics. At #AAOE2022AnnualConference, @sweeneyplatt and @Kim_Wishon will discuss the benefits of tech adoption — and how to drive culture change that encourages it. See you there!
@BigCheds My son taught me about it. I put some money in my other son’s Bank account for a big test he was taking. When I realized he wasn’t going to take it for six months, I took it out and put it in the crypto and tripled my investment.🍀
@AG_EM33 Just turned 58. The aging process can be accelerated by poor diet, sleep and lack of exercise. It can also be slowed down by all the same with hormone replacement possibly. Enjoy your journey 🍀
@AshleyGWinter Gyn tip 307. Do not go to the ER, if you do they will see that tooth on CAT scan and x-ray and think that it is a teratoma or dermoid cyst.
@MiddlesexMD Not promoting but this what I love to do. Happy throw advice if helpful. Three main options for menopause treatment, do nothing its natural, non-hormonal options, hormone options.
@fifilamoura @AshleyGWinter Sadly, you and I both had fallen into the trap of being extreme in our positions. I apologize and bow out to let you fight your fight.🍀
@fifilamoura @AshleyGWinter Vitamin D cost about 2 to 4 dollars a month to replace. I never try to sell to my patients I just offer them an option. I don’t believe in alternative medicine. It either works or it doesn’t work.
@fifilamoura @AshleyGWinter Sunlight, indirect for approximately 20 minutes is a great way to get vitamin D. Hopefully, we all live with that resource in our back pocket. Otherwise supporting levels between 60 to 80 is what I shoot for. The dose doesn’t matter, as long as it gets you to adequate levels.
@fifilamoura @AshleyGWinter My concern is that there is a middle ground that is often overlooked. You’re absolutely right toxicity is an issue and a problem. Recognizing some of the benchmark research that seems to suggest lower breast cancer rates and heart disease rates as well as decreased SAD is missed
@fifilamoura @AshleyGWinter I totally appreciate your response. I will tell you personally and anecdotally that many of my patients that come in with depression do great with adequate vitamin D replacement. Not a cure all. Not a Covid shield., But a smart easy consideration.
@AshleyGWinter I shoot for a vitamin D level of 60-80. Some evidence of lowering heart disease, breast cancer and SAD. Unfortunately, RDA of 400-800 per day will help prevent Rickets but not much else.
@AshleyGWinter Agree. Toxicity is a real thing, but in my experience over played to the point providers are afraid to address appropriately. Seasonal affective disorder is real and often over prescribed with SSRIs when adequate vitamin D replacement would work. Thanks for all you do🍀
Espresso martini on Wednesday has powerful medicinal value. Risk to benefit calculation of sleep to awake ratio has super high clinical value. Buy #crypto is the conclusion. 🤠
