I am one of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s strongest Critics. But those protesting with placards in Kano State, should go home.
If you did not protest for 8 years under Buhari, then you should maintain the status quo. Are protests no longer a Haram?
The DSS should move in immediately.
1Pound is now worth over 1,000naira.
And it has been that way for a few weeks.
Minimum wage in uk is £10 per hour.
Minimum wage in nigeria is £30 per month. (Or £1 per day).
So that means 3hrs work minimum wage in uk is the equivalent of 30days work in nigeria. And you may still be owed the money in nigeria.
Effectively if someone works for 1hour in London to get £10, another person will need to work for 10days in Lagos to make the same money.
Now while I understand that the purchasing power, price of basic goods, and cost of living is different for someone in Lagos and someone in London; but this level of shocking disparity is absolutely heartbreaking.
If we need to work 10days minimum wage work in our country to make what someone else will easily make in 1hour of similar minimum wage work elsewhere, or if I need to work a whole month for what someone else will easily make in 3hrs (and we are both minimum wage earners);
Then maybe it’s time for us to realise we are in a complete thorough mess.
You can accuse me of "treason" all you want. I said everything I fucking said and I stand by it.
If the person who wrote the tweet below became a governor 3 years after tweeting it, and the tweet is still up 11 years later, all of you should shut up with your "treason."
I leaked a top secret DHQ document in an attempt to stop a bloody illegal invasion of an innocent ally. I did so, and I'd do it again.
I posted a tweet invoking Nigerian soldiers' Duty to Disobey an illegal order. I did that.
You can die mad about it.

I didn't realise that he was a drug dealer in the US
And the election that brought him to power is still being credibly contested as fraudulent—George Galloway (Former Member of the UK Parliament)
Tinubu continues to be an embarrassment in the international scene!
