Meet Clamato!
On May 29, we admitted an adult male sea otter after he was found near Tofino, BC. He arrived emaciated, his condition remains serious, and his prognosis is guarded.

Victoria Day is a time to reflect on Canada’s enduring connection to the Crown and the traditions that shape our history. 👑🍁
We also look ahead to the installation of the 31st Governor General, the Honourable Louise Arbour.
Happy Victoria Day! 🕊️
I don’t understand how not doing land acknowledgements is something to brag about. And don’t give me talking points about DRIPA.
Can we bring decency and kindness back to politics!?
I've never done a land acknowledgement.
Some of my fellow candidates claim they were made to say it. Coerced into reciting words they didn't believe.
A real leader stands up and says no.
This cut will cost you more money.
This cut will put more pressure on fire and paramedics.
This cut will also force more people outside.
This cut will lead to more people needing hospitals.
This is bad public policy.
I highly respect Dr. Moira Stilwell. In 2013 when I stepped down from Mary Polak's campaign, she was one of the first people to call me. Moira and her campaign manager, @KimandaJ to see if I was ok. True leadership is based upon compassion and courage. She's got that.
The @vanliberals are happy to announce @DrMoiraStilwell BC’s former Minister of Advanced Education is joining the team to run for council. Welcome to the team Moira!

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim's defence against a potential defamation lawsuit is literally that some guy showed him a photo on their phone and the Mayor believed it, so he repeated it.

Councillor @seanorr responds to Mayor Sim’s apology for falsely claiming he distributed drugs over the holidays:
“This doesn’t address the reputational harm and damage done to my character … This doesn’t set out a plan going forward for how to prevent this.”
