@SIchatban Saying it out in the open: Chat showed up for our weekly Space when it counted, and that generosity will never be forgotten. Friends in the light and the shadow.
@seanonolennon I sourced Sammy's goat milk formula as a backup. Didn't end up using it, but it was the end of a long search, as you say. Also worth revisiting Sally Fallon's Nourishing Traditions. It has a section on infant feeding and fats.
Form gives us a place to begin, but for many of us it has been a substitute for substance. We may have leaned on form to cover feeling afraid or inferior, or simply because we didn’t know how to focus on substance.
To truly change, we have to give ourselves permission. Breaking family patterns is not defiance or betrayal. When we trust ourselves to choose new ways of living, we become pioneers, and the healing we find can reach generations to come.
My growth depends largely on my attitude, and my attitude is up to me. It’s the way I choose to see things, and no one can force it on me. For me, a good attitude is a point of view unclouded by self-pity and resentment.

Even with good intentions, when we try to control others, we usually end up colliding with them. Today, let us tend to our own affairs and leave others to theirs.
Change is threatening, yet healing always involves change. A change for the better can sometimes even feel more threatening than a change for the worse.
None of us has all the answers. We lean on one another to fill the gaps in our understanding, and on a Power greater than ourselves. We live easily with others when we offer what we know and admit what we don’t. We don’t have to be right all the time, just willing to grow.
Moving forward means risking the unknown. The old rut, depressing as it is, is at least familiar. Leaving it takes courage and trust in One who knows and cares. Insights alone don’t produce growth until they’re accompanied by action.
Whenever I faced a loss, I turned to other things instead of feeling it. When I recently lost a beloved friend, it felt like all my past losses arrived at once. This time I let myself grieve. It was hard, but feeling even the uncomfortable things is part of being alive.
