In the 90th minute, Paredes received the ball and was about to pass it to Messi, as usual.

But Messi told him to play a long ball to Lautaro instead. Paredes listened, picked him out with a perfect pass, and put him through on goal. Lautaro then provided the assist for Argentina’s third goal, which sealed the win.
