@Gemolo_Gemma You can use soapbox or pleroma or GNUsocial or https://t.co/eu0oNz7ZoF to create your own hosted social network, altering options or (if able) the code to meet your needs. A simpler way is to set-up a WordPress/BuddyPress subscription site using free and cheap extensions.

@Gemolo_Gemma Setup as individual, not business, and you can limit things. Make page private, then only approved followers can see who else is following. Restrict comments to only people you follow, then follow nobody, which essentially switches off comments. That's as far as you'll get.
